If they still create that because they see opportunity to grow up of fix their old project. As customers/ followers just see clearly what they made, isn't better or worst?. I still have faith with ERC20 ( old/ new project ) because they already help me recover my asset this year. New project can fix their system and give member many bonuses for loyalty program. They can learn from old project that still survive, show to them new is not old but better.

There are still people who are creating projects under the ERC20 contract but the numbers of the projects have been decreased because the developers and the whole team observe that the market is still in bad condition which is in a bearish situation so they tend to postpone their project and just launch it when the market is alright so people are not scared to risk and invest their money.

There are many projects migrating to their mainnet aswell. It seems that ERC20 only for temporary and nowadays people prefer to create their own, not that ERC20 is a useless thing but some people did experimental thing with the smart contracts nowadays not for commercial purpose or even fundraising.
To be honest, that's actually good because atleast ETH network will have less chance of being congested or overcrowded because of some measly shitcoin that got hyped just for a moment then gone to oblivion afterwards.

If we will notice most of the scammers are using ERC20 token as this is easy to made up, so I am very particular now with projects, I prefer those who has their own blockchain meaning that they really worked hard for it and not just having a nice whitepaper they they just hired some experts for them to look nice and professional.

people are now switching to exchange's own blockchain like binance's though. ERC-20 couldnt guarantee the listing on the exchange so they decide to instead switch over to a more future promising platform and you can't blame them for that to be honest. ERC20 is just too vulnerable nowaday so many people able to fake coin with different smart contract. its not a surpise people are tired of the ethereum blockchain and decide to not use it. look again. most projects sold through ICO / IEO this year were developed through the ERC20 platform. in addition, the platform has become very common for the development of new projects. currently not so many new projects have been developed. however, if many new projects are re-developed, I am very sure that most of them use ERC20.

Almost 80 percent of the new projects base up on the ethereum blockchain. They use ERC20 standard. The development team of this coin puts it real efforts to improve the system. People rather scammers want to make money with easy terms. If they ever come up with their own blockchain, instead of scamming, a good project can be created. With these facts in mind, investors should avoid new projects.

Obviously, ERC-20 tokens is always highest popular from others different tokens such as ERC-721, ERC-223 and ERC-777 but still 80% projects are developed by using ETH platform in the altcoins market.
