When BTC more than $20K again 

Seriously, nobody really knows. I remember people saying alt season will start upon EOS mainnet launch but that never happened. Now, some are saying XRP will rally the altcoins and it doesn't look like it's going to happen.

If you ever plan to go with altcoins hoping there will be an alt season, stick with the top 10 or top 20. Don't expect a 1000X or more from relatively unknown alts.

There is no one can predict when will altseason to happen, don't expect it will come in just a short time, maybe it could take longer so only time can tell. why don't you buy more cheap altcoins and hold until the altseason will come. I also waiting the altseason because I have many coins in my wallet that I got from bounties, hoping to increase double.

No need to get the answer on your first question. That will only give you more frustration. Nobody can answer that accurately. If anybody gives you an answer, you will only expect. And that expectation will give you more disappointment because it will fail most probably. Be satisfied instead that the answer to your second question is a definite no. We are waiting for something bigger than the biggest record in the past. Just sit back for now and enjoy every single crypto day in your life.

blockchain somehow is getting attention to most countries nowadays, we can see there are governments discussing it already. China is going to this direction already. if many of the countries adopting like having their own coin, we may be seeing altcoins also going to rise. i see it happening one by one already but its going to be a long wait. the best road to go is just go for BTC right now and earn as much as possible.

When BTC dominance would fall below 50 percent. A more interesting thing is that this could happen if BTC drops to 5k USD as well as raise to 100k USD. The price of BTC does not influence the raise of alts, but the dominance does.

How would anyone know about it? And why do you want to rely on other's speculation?

Try to track bitcoin's price very closely because bitcoin's market dominance is around 68% right at this moment! So when bitcoin shows a bullish sign, majority of the alts should replicate the same behavior and vice versa! That's the best way to speculate on alt season!

Agree. Increasingly, it is increasingly difficult to predict when alt will be as bright as a few years ago. However, most likely if bitcoin can reach a price of 20k usd, then there is a huge opportunity for alt to also increase 2x times the current price. as you said maybe in my opinion it will only cover the top 100 coins in coinmarketcap. Maybe there are some other coins out there that will also follow up.

Bitcoin is still far away to reach the price of $ 20k and currently bitcoin is still unstable prices go up and down, the altcoin season will definitely arrive when scamer is no longer on earth, because many already do not believe in altcoin nearly 30% because of the scamer that continues to occur, if bitcoin is at a high peak then altcoin will follow it.

It's funny to watch as more and more dissatisfied statements appear on the forum regarding expectations for the future of cryptocurrencies.It can be seen that many people live here from the bull race to the bull race, and in between, they only do what they write questions when the new season of alternative coins comes.

By and large, we are still on the correction of those peak positions in 2017-2018. There is no point in expecting anything from the crypto market, this is a direct way to trap yourself and miss interesting opportunities now.

Sometimes waiting for something that was not sure to come is boring! that's why for me its better to look into more productive ways to earn in the crypto industry, rather than waiting for nothing, Altcoin season is very hard to predict, thats why in my opinion it was only created to lure investors to speculate in altcoins, As we all know that there was no altcoin season if there is no Bitcoin uptrend movement as well because they are interconnected in the Market. thats why its better to move on.

Will agree with 50/50 maybe. Because when bitcoin increased, not all altcoin is increased too. Usually which already in market for long time or maybe top coin in coinmarketcap only will survived. About tokens, new coins that born from ICO, it sometime can be worse because investor tired to wait price to increased and then sell all of their tokens to bitcoin and wait for higher price.

when? it depends on how you define "alt season"!

for most people who have been around the altcoin season is every day that a shitcoin gets pumped and they can make a profit from that pump. and it is happening almost every day and traders are taking advantage.

for some others who don't have any experience in trading altcoins, the alt season is when they can close their eyes, choose anything at random and make profit!!! that case is the rarest thing you can ever hope for. so it may never repeat or it may happen in another 10 years.

Just wait when bitcoin goes up again. The logic is like this, when bitcoin hits a big price, most likely alts are going to follow. This is what happened during late 2017.

We can't just say that cryptocurrency will go up, when cryptocurrency will go down. After all, cryptocurrency is not the fastest way in earning money .

Please think it logically, if we know when will it happens there is no need for us to create any analysis. If you do not stop asking this, you will not survive when the bull happens because you do not know how to react and making a move based on what other people saying.

I think this will be the case, as in 2017 where we saw altcoins rise in price. But I don't think all altcoins can keep up with the rising prices because some of them can't handle the demand for bitcoin in the market. So other altcoins that are useless in crypto can't handle it and they will eventually lose value. And the only survivors are the alts that have the potential to help crypto's future developments.

if so what is your reason why you think so?

I personally still have not found a reason why an altseason will occur in the near future. halving bitcoin ?, I think this is not a good reason and moreover halving will only start in 6 months. so I don't think this is the right reason for the altseason to occur anytime soon. end of the year?, you might forget the end of last year. all was out of everyone's expectations, there was no increase for the market and even that was the worst after the fall. ethereum 2.0 ?, maybe this could be a reason, but I've not seen many people speculating with this ethereum update.

so I don't think altseason will happen anytime soon.

Happens when BTC enters a real bull mode again. BTC has gone up and down for the past 2 years, never reaching a new all time high, the vast majority of people doesn't care, but don't be fooled, a new altcoin season WILL come eventually.

There is so many crypto use cases, partnerships, services, and products coming, that eventually people will start to speculate again, it's just human nature really.

A trend I've been seeing lately is that most people are SICK of KYC and sharing their personal details everywhere, which is why I believe DEX projects like Blocknet will be MASSIVE performers moving forward.

maybe when bitcoin returns to ATH, there will be a new altcoin season. but the possibility is low, because it takes a long time to make bitcoin back to ATH. honestly i'm not even sure about halving bitcoin later, I doubt halving can trigger a pump that can make bitcoin 2x or even 3x from today.
