I personally still have not found a reason why an altseason will occur in the near future. halving bitcoin ?, I think this is not a good reason and moreover halving will only start in 6 months. so I don't think this is the right reason for the altseason to occur anytime soon. end of the year?, you might forget the end of last year. all was out of everyone's expectations, there was no increase for the market and even that was the worst after the fall. ethereum 2.0 ?, maybe this could be a reason, but I've not seen many people speculating with this ethereum update.

I can't agree with you. I don't think any altcoin season we will live before Bitcoin halving. I think we should look for BTC price first. After Bitcoin bull, altseason may come.

It will take more time before alts can recover from this dump. It is still fresh from some people's minds how they got scammed by token sales and alts and how they lose money after the sudden bear market after getting in when the price was so high. I do not even know if alt season will ever be back. I am thinking, if bitcoin has a bull run, it might push the price of alts even further down.

its difficult to see bitcoin dominance drop to below 50% ,at this moment bitcoin has high hype.many traders recognized it already hit the bottom and its time for him to start accumulate their bitcoin amount.i am not sure altcoin season will happen again like 2017  condition.maybe only high qualified altcoin that will able show the performace that described on its price.

We are waiting for the best and the time will come for us, i can feel it. There will be a 100% altcoins season when the bull market happens again so don’t lose hope yet, if you hold top altcoins then nothing to worry about. Altcoins  are better in terms of faster transactions compare to banks, so they will still exist.

Nothing is assured. The alt season you are asking of is dependent on how Bitcoin moves. Here is one thing I have observed in the crypto market: When more people talk about something, the less chance of it happening anytime soon. The alt season will come when most people least expect it. Will that season come? Surely. When? One can’t tell.

I think you should be able to wait patiently for altcoin because the increase in price of altcoin depends on market conditions, when market conditions are getting crowded and many are doing transactions at the exchange then alcoin season can begin.

50/50 on what ? Having an altcoin season this year ? I would say 10% chances for this year and about 30% for 2020 so you see there are few chances for an altcoin season to actually begin when most of us are waiting for the bull run of Bitcoin. Its a good time though to accumulate some good altcoins to make sure if an unexpected season will come you're ready to cash out the profits and buy more Bitcoin.

Seriously, nobody really knows. I remember people saying alt season will start upon EOS mainnet launch but that never happened. Now, some are saying XRP will rally the altcoins and it doesn't look like it's going to happen.

If you ever plan to go with altcoins hoping there will be an alt season, stick with the top 10 or top 20. Don't expect a 1000X or more from relatively unknown alts.

Bitcoin still dominance and we have continue for waiting when altcoin season, bitcoin still interested as investing or trading by many people and they look away from altcoin because price of altcoin still down, maybe we need waiting for long term until bitcoin break above $20k and altcoin will up to higher price again, we need time for waiting when altcoin season come to start investing.

Just be patient and continuously accumulate more altcoins in the market. Don't be in a rush because this is actually a blessing in disguise because the market of altcoin is giving us a longer opportunity to get more altcoin and fill our bags for long term holding. Altseason will become and the only problem is we don't know when it is coming, so just invest in good altcoins and worry nothing because when the altcoin season comes then it would be epic.

We have to accept the fact that things will not go on like before. 2017 alt season is hard to achieved now. It does just meant for bad reputation and it is hard to get back what the crypto users are thinking about it. If you are going to look where are those altcoins from 2017 now, most of them were burried majority of them were being abandoned.

 But hey, we are in a crypto space where everything is possible to happen. If many thought altcoins are dead, we can still hope for the best.

Actually no one knows, we can only speculate but there's no accuracy as we dont know how the market will perform in next coming days/months.

Bull run will happen if there's a good news surrounding crypto that will trigger for the prices to soar high. If bitcoin reach its peaked price again then we can expect the alts to follow.

But when it will going to happen? Only time can tell so lets just be patient.

Altcoin season will happen soon when bitcoin goes up again, im not an expert but everytime that the bitcoin goes up whether to its ATH or not the altcoin goes up too, maybe because all altcoins are dependent to bitcoin. If bitcoin will be more stable in the following weeks and months surely in next year we will see all of them in green.
