WHEN ALTSEASON? are we waiting for nothing?

I don’t think that some kind of "altcoin season" awaits us. After the boom of 2017, there is a realization of the situation. And the situation is such that attempts to tokenize everything in success have failed. 99% of the projects were abandoned. In the real world, there is no interest in the services offered, it is quite sufficient that is and successfully works.
So, unfortunately, it seems to me that altcoins will not return

I know it's hard to believe in one more altcoin season after what happened in last year and a half but I feel there will be one more altcoin season but not sure if it will be this year or next or on a later date. This is possible only if the value of bitcoin goes bonkers again. Developers should learn from failed projects in order to avoid same mistake in the new altcoin projects.

altcoins are really not doing good at the moment. Even though bitcoin went to 12000 from 5000, no such rally was observed with altcoins. The next possible way for movement of altcoins is bitcoin halving reward which will be held in May 2020. Lets see how it goes.

it's hard to expect it like 2017, although yesterday bitcoin had risen high, but many altcoins didn't follow it. this is possible because of the many altcoin communities who left it, so that without the presence of large investors who are interested I think it will eventually die

For people who don't have patience, they will sell their altcoins cheaply but I think altseason will still come and just wait for time. The current condition might be an opportunity to buy solid altcoin at a cheap price and hold it for the long term

Even the news of the Chinese Government supporting Cryptocurrencies didn't do it, it just made it rise a little so it has to take something very major for altszn to happen, who knows, it might not even be triggered by anything, it might take time, but I believe it would happen again.

after halving we will see more bitcoin dominance in market.altcoin price will drop again if they could not deliver products in their ecosystem or crypto market.soon or later crypto market will killed all useless coin,investor become smarter and they carefully invest in crypto market.maybe only major altcoin that able to survive.

Alts are currencies with live projects so they are only waiting for the market to recover. We are not waiting for nothing and it's not 50/50 as it is 99.99% that we are waiting for something and not nothing.

It seems rather difficult to predict. But certainly, usually when BTC is in a state of continuous bullrun. It could be happening in November until bitcoin halving. Just yesterday bitcoin rose by 20-30% because China will use the blockchain and will launch DCEP. This was followed by several altcoins that rose too. It could be that the price tomorrow will go up tomorrow because the DCEP issue will be launched this November.

Are you still long on altcoins?
I don't understand that why people are still invested in altcoins for long term when Bitcoin is clearly outperforming altcoins by big margins. It isn't like that it started happening recently. This whole year BTC has gained over 200% whereas altcoins have bottomed out. There is no harm in waiting for the "alt season" but dont let your investment sit in altcoins where it can grow through BTC. Alt season is amazing for day trades and you can still profit from it even if you miss the opportunity of investing at lowest point.

if you are holding thousands of altcoins you really can't wait for the price to go moon. not everyone has the patience to hold when they see the altcoins they hold are now 50x below the ICO price. they can shout scam to the team who issue the tokens but that wont lead them anywhere either. so you could either just sell your altcoins or just hold it and hope there will really be an altcoin season. there are altcoins that are sure to rise though, it must be true when they say invest to the top coins.

As an altcoin holder i think i'm not waiting for nothing because i still have hope that there will be a time for altcoin to boom again though i'm not sure how many years would it take. i just hold altcoin that has big potential with an active development aside from having a working platform, this are the reason why i keep holding them because they still offer a bright future.

It is assumed or projected hat altseason will be next year, which will come alongside bitcoin rally.
Well, it is possible, but the reality is that, the year 2029 might come without any obvious season.

As an altcoin holder i think i'm not waiting for nothing because i still have hope that there will be a time for altcoin to boom again though i'm not sure how many years would it take. i just hold altcoin that has big potential with an active development aside from having a working platform, this are the reason why i keep holding them because they still offer a bright future.

Altcoin season will come along with bitcoin, maybe not this year, but it will surely come.

I would like to believe but only by faith I live because there are no prerequisites for the further development of violas. Personally I have a full trunk of empty tokens and I hope at least some of them come to life.

An altcoin without life  is considered to be shitcoin, if those shitcoin were already dead for so many months, I dont think that it will have a value even altcoin season will come.
