When? Can someone predict them? No one really knows, actually.
When bitcoin hits another bull run or at least the price is higher than $15k-$20k, perhaps? With bitcoin dominance, also. It's only my own speculation, it doesnt hold any deeper meaning to it.
But really, you can just invest in the top 5-10 atlcoins out there, better than just waiting for nothing.

If you're waiting for an altcoin season, when all altcoins or most of them are growing hundreds of percent, that's just unrealistic. The bear market has made weak projects obvious, and sadly most of the altcoins are shitcoin, nobody will want to buy them at a higher price.

Now altcoin season sounds more like an illusion, although there is still hope. Honestly we all have to be careful with the altcoins we hold waiting for "altseason" since even if it comes, some team members who are more concerned with making money💰 will cash out on holders. I think altseason might come next year after people start diverting profit made from bitcoin rally (due to bitcoin halving) to altcoins.

Alt season may happen but unlike the first alt season that prices propelled to very high prices. Now, investors and traders alike are educated of what happens before. I think there is a comeback for major alt coins, those having a solid development and project but for those who are gone,  I think there is no comeback. Watch out also for new alt coins, it maybe a trap to be swayed by their sweet promises.Always scrutinize the project before giving your money to them.

But in the world of cryptocurrency everything can happen at any time. Big players can control the market with their money. If the Altseason doesn't arrive, at least we have an analysis that the opportunity might be impossible. Just look at the previous bitcoin history. At this time it might be very difficult because the dominance of Bitcoin is still high at 67.3%.

Although that is just hoped, people still waiting for the altcoin season because they believe the altcoin season will come again. I still waiting like them too, and I think that it will happen, but unfortunately, there is no right time when the altcoin season will come. We could only wait for more and preparing our coin so we can place the order sell at the highest price. Not matter if that is only a prediction, people can be patient to wait because they want to recover their loss.

Seriously, nobody really knows. I remember people saying alt season will start upon EOS mainnet launch but that never happened. Now, some are saying XRP will rally the altcoins and it doesn't look like it's going to happen.

If you ever plan to go with altcoins hoping there will be an alt season, stick with the top 10 or top 20. Don't expect a 1000X or more from relatively unknown alts.

good, when is the altcoin session? when the BTC session is over and the BTC is above $ 20K. don't expect altcoin sessions to start now. because some pumps from altcoin are just a FUD. and it will not start an altcoin session. still enjoy before bitcoin starts and ends sweetly. and when everything starts, please take your actions.

Cryptocurrency will always remain unpredictable because it's volatile. If we could only predict its price and the future of market then we should've been millionaires now. I believe that bigger events will happen in the future. If there will be more adoptions and regulations, I believe that it could affect the prices of cryptocurrencies positively. Alt season will be approaching but no one really knows when. Let's just wait for the right time and take advantage of every market situation.

we cant predict when altcoin season start. my opinion, altcoin will rise and show the claw when bitcoin price rise like last year. im sure many people hold their coin, and wait till the right time. there are many scam product and i cant choice where is the good place. so, maybe when the alt season start, people will trade the old coin than the new

We can only estimate the possibilities that can occur but what happens later can be different from what we expect. So, I personally focus for now on how I can make a profit even in small amounts and for coins that I have bought for my investment in the long run maybe I will choose to keep holding it and wait for the right moment to sell it, even though we don't know when the right moment will happen.

I have the same thinking but I'm not for all altcoins, to get pump, only altcoin that has usage and contributes to the development of the community, back 2017 even altcoins that do not have website and support are getting pump I'm against that, so if we are going to have altcoins in our portfolio only those that are active in their development, not because a certain group told us or you have read or heard a news that it's going to be pump.

No need to get the answer on your first question. That will only give you more frustration.
Nobody can answer that accurately. If anybody gives you an answer, you will only expect.
And that expectation will give you more disappointment because it will fail most probably.
Be satisfied instead that the answer to your second question is a definite no. We are
waiting for something bigger than the biggest record in the past. Just sit back for now
and enjoy every single crypto day in your life.

Sometimes waiting for something that was not sure to come is boring! that's why for me
its better to look into more productive ways to earn in the crypto industry, rather than
waiting for nothing, Altcoin season is very hard to predict, thats why in my opinion it
was only created to lure investors to speculate in altcoins, As we all know that there
was no altcoin season if there is no Bitcoin uptrend movement as well because they are
interconnected in the Market. thats why its better to move on.

when? it depends on how you define "alt season"!

for most people who have been around the altcoin season is every day that a shitcoin
gets pumped and they can make a profit from that pump. and it is happening almost
every day and traders are taking advantage.

for some others who don't have any experience in trading altcoins, the alt season is when
they can close their eyes, choose anything at random and make profit!!! that case is the
rarest thing you can ever hope for. so it may never repeat or it may happen in another 10 years.

Happens when BTC enters a real bull mode again. BTC has gone up and down for the
past 2 years, never reaching a new all time high, the vast majority of people doesn't
care, but don't be fooled, a new altcoin season WILL come eventually.

There is so many crypto use cases, partnerships, services, and products coming, that eventually
people will start to speculate again, it's just human nature really.

A trend I've been seeing lately is that most people are SICK of KYC and sharing their personal
details everywhere, which is why I believe DEX projects like Blocknet will be MASSIVE
performers moving forward.

no one interested, if you're is owner the token forget altseason from now, its neverhappened

Totally agree with this. Something behind those top 20 though isn't guaranteed that it will be good in the long run. Stick with top 10 for better and top 20 if you just want to expand your reach. Oh in addition if you are confident enough then try out something new in the market. Besides such altcoin will only be up if Bitcoin's market start to bull run.
