My advice to beginners is too do a thorough research on projects before joining Their Bounty Campaign. Don't just jump into any Bounty you see, especially this period. Don't waste your precious time promoting the wrong project.
Here are some key factors you need to consider before joining a Bounty.

- Any project offering $1m and above as Bounty reward should be watched with caution. There is every possibility it wouldn't work out as expected.
- Any project hosting ieo on fraudulent, shitty exchanges
and exchanges that have bad history with ieos should be avoided.
- For trading tokens: confirm the price on the exchange with the price on the Bounty thread . Some projects end up deceiving hunters with false prices.

I'm not following what's going on in Bounties section and ICO world lately, so I want to ask, is it still possible to find decent bounty in 2019? From what I saw, most projects there are pure scams, others likely will pay just some worthless tokens.
My suggestion - before joining bounty you should make big reasearch about project, like before investing into it. But unfortunately it don't gives any guarantees that you will get paid.

I only find one project that pays good enough since July. It's tough to distinguish that project with another one at the beginning because you get the same whitepaper that discusses nothing but promises.

I don't think researching the bounty program is worth your time anymore. There are too many scams and low-quality projects out there. I'd instead look for BTC, or top 10 altcoins paid campaign,

If you need to work with bounty campaigns, you have to choose legit and useful things. The bounties with high allocation or low allocation not giving decent profits to the bounty hunters. High allocations will be going down the prices when will be listed on exchanges. Low allocations are not enough for bounties right now because the bounties getting a large number of participants in these days. The important thing is you have to do your own research about projects before you participate in bounties to not getting scammed.

The cryptocurrency field is quite saturated with different currencies promising very similar service and utility. Hence new upstarts coming in find a hard time connecting with investors,,m who have likely been scammed at one point in time. ICOs, IEOs and STOs are all fizzling out and they are dragging down the bounty campaigns with them. I would personally avoid any bounty organized by a new project and offering tokens with no value at the time.
A currency which is already trading has an extra advantage, then do your research on the manager(trustworthiness), verification of funds etc.

I'd instead look for BTC, or top 10 altcoins paid campaign,
BTC campaigns are more attractive, but some members barely do any research and simply apply. Hunters should always confirm the availability of funds, preferably through a trusted escrow.

I'd joined various bounty campaigns last year but until now I didn't get any of them.
Most likely the are turn out exit scam and didn't pay their bounty hunters and participants.

OP you can add these links and might help to find and knowing scam bounty campaigns.

For me, the team behind those projects is the best option of searching which is a legit one, followed by Whitepaper and Roadmap.

Those are great pointers for doing due dilligence before joining bounties, however, one big issue is that even if you do all those, bounties nowadays aren't what they were back in 2017. If you do bounties today expect to earn at the most half, if not even less than what was given freely before. The glass has been shattered and the scams behind these bounties have surfaced.

IMHO, very few bounties are still worth it today.

I have been busting ICO scams sometimes. Truth is most genuine ICO/IEO projects no longer hold bounties. They usually spend the money  advertising on expensive and influential main stream media much more exposed media channels such as cointelegraph

Most ICO/IEOs that come here asking people to advertise by asking people to share on their social media profiles are in most cases unserious, scams and always looking for a cheaper option of advertising through issuing worthless tokens.

Most of them have fake team profiles, no working product, no substantial whitepaper and all they are equipped is worthless tokens minted out of a thin air. 2017 was a great year to make money though bounties but that's not the case anymore.

To fine a legit bounty this days takes a lot of experience which most beginners like myself very much lack. With the much complaints about fraudulent bounty platforms on the rise within the market.
I'll like to ask, what are those definite qualities to watch out for to determine a legit project?.

If you take a closer look at the replies above, you'll see that numerous users have said already that there's no real or definite marker to identify if a project is legit, most people who still partake in ICO projects do it as a sort of "try your luck" and I can say that in 2019 your chances of "good luck" are overtly slim.

ICO market is now more or less run by the scammers, they know no matter the tip off or warning, people would still be foolish enough to fall for their fake whitepaper, team and project promises, if you're not a prophet who can discern a true ico project, stay away from them Grin.

Having a legit team on a project doesn't always equate to be a good bounty find.  I have experienced this first hand when the bounty I've joined with drastically cut the rewards to the participants since the team have no integrity and  treat participants badly. Shame on them!

Finding a legit project/bounty is like finding a needle in a haystack. A lot of them bounties today are mostly scams and some may even try hacking your pc through malware. In the end, research PLUS analyzing the content of the project is the key to determining whether one is a scam or not. Information can be faked and may seem legit so simply researching if it is legit or not may be lacking. A lot of people have gotten scammed and had nowhere to report to sadly enough, since its mostly their fault for trusting such a project.

First of all we need to find the project team's legitimacy by researching deep about their profiles and most probably bounty ear was ended in 2018 so waiting time on such thing is completely useless but you can try learning trading when you are a newbie and if you got any tokens left with your wallet from any bounty then start doing trades with it which might work for you.

What I have ever felt paid with the token and the value of the token is TEMTUM, just distribution but the token has a price and according to what was written in the spreadsheet using USD data.

And with the $ 1 million bid bounty in the form of tokens I don't trust anymore especially by promising large dividends for holding the tokens, the bounty is now difficult to predict so I'm just avoiding it.

Sure, it's a must. Indeed, there are still many of us, especially newbies who join the bounty campaign without paying close attention to the project, they are easily tempted by big rewards. They are not aware that the reward is distributed in the form of their tokens which still have no value. But for point number 3, I don't think there are many projects that do something like that, if their tokens/coins have been listed in the market, they usually give rewards according to the price at that moment. However, when compared to tokens that still don't have value, the rewards offered for tokens that have been listed on the market are relatively smaller, but I don't think there is a problem with that as long as the value is certain.

It's easy to say "do your research", but no one tells newbies HOW to do that research. Doing research is not easy, it requires a ton of experience with ICO's, which is something that newbies obviously don't have. There are some ICO review sites, but they cover only a tiny fraction of ICO's, and they can be corrupt, like it happened in the past. You should monitor scam accusations against ICO's on this forum, but again, just because an ICO doesn't have one, it doesn't mean that it's clear - maybe no one just had time to check it.

I agree. I personally do not trust ICO- projects anymore, so the first thing I look in the project is that is self-funded or financed through investors without any crowd funding. Been burned a few times.

I have been busting ICO scams sometimes. Truth is most genuine ICO/IEO projects no longer hold bounties. They usually spend the money  advertising on expensive and influential main stream media much more exposed media channels such as cointelegraph
This is somehow true because legitimate project with huge funds are capable to advertise themselves on their own without the need of running such bounty campaign. Usually they jusf hire agency that holds the social media campaign for the sake of advertisement in which the payment isn't stake based but rather in a constant form which is why it's somehow not worth it to participate in.

Before there are projects that allocates 1m$ for there bounty paid off there participants but for now? I don't think it's true since eventhough they allocate that base on the  current value in their coin we can still not get paid what we got on the volume since once the token landed on exchange the price of it surely dump for more lower than it's original price. And we should really be careful since the effort and the time will be useless if we will not be paid if we join on scam bounties.
