They are just the same in terms of their motive.I just wanna to post up the thread you had given. So far i havent received any suspicious emails yet im not really into giveaways or promotions. So reading up new mails isnt my thing. I often receive emails like this I always ignore messages like this because I know this is phishing but sometimes it's annoying almost once a week I receive emails like this, I also wonder why the scamerr knows my email even though I didn't publish it.
Your email been definitely scattered out on the net.Any service that had leaked out their mail list can really be used up or can be bought up by someone as part of their list where these phishing emails would be sent into.

I'd suggest that you remove the original google form link that they've provided in your post (the same for others who have quoted it) or replace it with a placeholder. You're indirectly re-sharing a malicious link. Also, you'd still make the same point without that. I know only a twit will fall for that even with the warnings/etc but, let's just keep the possibilities of it being clicked to 0%

I find it hilarious that the scammers are asking people to submit information through a Google form, even though one of Brave's important goals is to prevent data-hog companies like Google from accessing and collecting people's data lmao.

Easiest way to counter these kinds of email scam and even social media scam is to go directly to their official website or blog site to know of there are really official announcement about an ongoing contest or not. Some sites even warn you through their websites that a similar type of scam is spreading in the internet. Just by limiting yourself on the email you are reading won't help but from people who has experience with being victimize by these scams already they will instantly know that this types of emails are bogus.

This is exactly what is needed to be done once you recieved an email that you can't recognize from whom did it came from. Ignore it as much as possible because the possibility of unknown emails to be a scam. virus, phishing, ransom ware and al the malicious software and sites is very high. The moment it instructed you to install something, you should question its intention and purpose. Never trust and never ever install something from anything unknown. Never compromise the safety of your device, your asset, and yourself

I updated OP and hide the malicious . This is the important part in that link and it's about mandatory conditions to be eligible for rewards: Mandatory conditions: To participate in the Bounty program, update your Brave browser to the latest version for your PC.
You can download Brave from the official website: <physhing link>
This is a required procedure to participate in the Bounty program. 1. Download Brave from the official site: <same physhing link> 2. Then paste your ETH address into the input field 3. Then continue update the browser.
Done!
You automatically became a member of the Bounty program! This is exactly what is needed to be done once you recieved an email that you can't recognize from whom did it came from. Ignore it as much as possible because the possibility of unknown emails to be a scam.
But also warn others about it.

I don't suggest literally ignoring the scam site though. Spend a minute into at least reporting the scam website to Google to potentially decrease the damages. Sadly, not everyone are aware of these types of scams. https://safebrowsing.google.com/safebrowsing/report_general/

true, people who e-mail lots of e-mails with the purpose of gadgets are frustrating, I used to get emails containing kidnapping my children, but hey! I am still a teenager and do not have children, other than that he asked for a ransom of 4 BTC, very strange in my opinion, whether people out there have run out of sense to find bitcoin on the right path.

I also wonder why the scamerr knows my email even though I didn't publish it.
Getting one's email is easy, there are various hacking where user data is leaked (usually contain name, username, email, password and hashed password) and many websites who sold users data. Not exactly hacking but there are some extensions now in google chrome that can view emails and names. More likely by passing the information. true, people who e-mail lots of e-mails with the purpose of gadgets are frustrating, I used to get emails containing kidnapping my children, but hey! Those kidnappers really want bitcoin specifically? Lol! Anyway, just block those emails so they won't bother you again.

Don't rely on emails to get updates for browser platforms, wallets or anything. Of course, email serves its roles as mean to receive announcements for upgrades or important things with exchange account.
But people have to visit official websites of wallets, exchanges, services to check that there are real upgrades from those platforms as receiving email mentions or not. If not, it is phishing attacks, and they will know what to do.
There are people who often instantly click on link provided in emails to download, install, upgrade. They are very vulnerable to phishing attacks by that bad habit.

It's better to use your built-in browser. There's a lot of browsers out there with injected spyware on it. So always be cautious about using them. If you are using browsers like Google chrome or mozilla, don't save your pass as it can easily be backed. Also don't just add browser extension of it's not needed. Some of the has copy paste virus. Their address will automatically paste when you paste other address. So be cautious about that.
