Aside from losing my private key and getting hacked since all of us probably are afraid of it, what's also scary is my local government prohibiting cryptocurrency in my country. Although right now it seems impossible since I could see that the government have no plan of banning bitcoin. But this problem just cross my mind, what if this actually happens? How am I supposed to deal with it?
Use legit VPN if ever, but it will be less hussle if they will not bans it. I'm afraid sometimes in sending big amount of transaction since I might send it in a wrong address or will not be able to receive it sometimes. But losing private key, being hacked, scammed with huge amounts scares me the most. or doing KYC some times scares me.

It already happened. Lost everything. Mostly because what I had was in alts and not in BTC, and you guys all know what happened the whole time from last year. I had 6 digits, then became 5 digits, then 4 digits ...
As for wallets, you should never delete them. They are so small you can at least archive them, back them up, and put multiple copies somewhere, at least in your own home. If the coin itself dies, there's not much you can do anyway, but at least you saved the wallet and private keys.
I got almost a billion stack coins mined years back. I haven't seen a peer in 3 or 4 years; I think it died. HODL to the death.

We know the risk in crypto and it for sure we know this before we are about to enter here. If we are worried about an unexpected drop in price, it simply means that we don't have a future in crypto. This is to know that only risk-takers will survive and the others don't. If we can carry out these worries and market emotions, it has nothing to be on the dark side but rather to see us in the light(positive side). This morning I found out that Bitmex was hacked. And i not that it positively affected my level of anxiety in general...
https://cointelegraph.com/news/breaking-bitmex-may-have-just-leaked-all-of-their-users-emailsI'm afraid if this could lead to another market drama and even create dump again just like it happen to Binance.

This fun picture got me thinking. https://imgur.com/2GwIL5YWhat are your biggest fear in crypto? As for me, it's losing my private keys by accident. I know that the risk is minimal, but the thought of it makes me anxious from time to time. Also, I'm afraid that BTC dumps during the transaction. Waking up one morning and knowing that the whole cryptocurrency market went down to nothing? Or maybe finding out that all your crypto (or your private keys) was stolen or lost somehow? By the way, Happy Halloween! The biggest fear for me in Crypto is also loosing my private keys and getting hacked. I have already suffered from this kind of incidence once when I forgot the keys of one of my wallets and accidentally deleted that wallet and after a few days I got my bounty payment in that wallet but was horrified after realizing that I deleted that wallet. We have the same fear and experience, especially in losing private keys. I lose my private keys once and can't log in to that account. I think its almost 500$ at this price rate. So, now I always keep my private keys and give some copy to someone that I genuinely trust. I’m grateful that I don't have any experience of hacking and hoping that it will never happen.

What I was afraid of happening with my bitcoins was falling in price due to bad news as my country banned it. I know you disagree with putting our hard earned money here but this is what I did. I risk my money for bitcoin invesment because I believe its price will rise and I will be just like the early adopters of bitcoin who are now rich.

The biggest fear is buying a shitty altcoin that keeps dumping like a dead team, nothing scare me more than that as for private keys I have them saved in my room and I have other means to access my wallet apart from keys.

What I am scared of these following days is that bitcoin will fall under $5000 or worst. But I know it wasn't possible now due to strong market and I believed that adoption is potential to go further, as many people we're having confidence to own bitcoin as their reliable asset. That conviction had given me courage to be neutralized, even though I've been through anxieties several days ago.

I am a btc holder for a quite some time now and I only use one device for my btc wallet. And what scares me the most is if I lose access to my wallet and can't lose all my btc stored there. Much worst is to lost my phone. I can't imagine that to happen.
Given the price drops scared me a bit but that's a natural scenario of crypto market. A margin trader like me used to manage those worst market ways.

Probably being hacked or catching a keylogger trojan that or some other thing that will allow someone to take control of my computer. This would be much worse than simply losing money i have on an exchange because in time a hacker would gain access to all my personal information bank accounts contacts, all email addresses, everything.
At this point losing your presence in the Internet is worse than losing a job.

What are your biggest fear in crypto?
That the bug known as Proof of Work goes unsolved and my living room becomes part of the Atlantic Ocean. Bitcoin might provide humanity with a better form of money. But is it really worth wrecking our planet in the process? Gold mining/recycling, coin minting, banking, circulation of paper currency -- these entail massive energy costs, far larger than Bitcoin. Securing money is unfortunately an expensive and resource intensive process. Obviously, the real problem is that humans are still using money.

Me too, this is one of the nightmare that has happen to me, yes it happen already to me, ive lost some of my coin because a hacker decrypt my password, it happens few months ago. Since then I put a 2FA security to my account if that is an online wallet and in my hardware wallet I put a strong anti virus and anti malware for me to avoid being hack even in hardware.

I personally save in several places for private keys. My fear in crypto is not losing my crypto assets or the price of being zero (0). but I am afraid I did not have crypto assets when crypto started to the moon. so I could not party with the others, who had been prepared long ago. I am not worried if the market becomes 0, because 99% is not possible for 1 night. except the internet is dead. My second fear was that when I crashed and was in a coma or died (hopefully not) it did not tell the private key and how to open my assets to the family. so I taught my family.

in my opinion there are some fears that are usually felt by crypto holders. 1. some of us would be afraid if we lose our private key or forget the password. 2. afraid that the coins we choose are not potential coins. 3. afraid when bitcoin continues to decline and can not rise again. if I'm afraid that if my country suddenly bans cryptocurrency and in the end we can't access our portfolio. but I hope that all those bad things never happen.

What are your biggest fear in crypto?
My biggest fear in crypto is lossing all of my holdings or the dumping of the price of my both bitcoins and altcoins because it will result for me to a big losses that's why I am afraid of this kind of happenings if it's come. One thing I am afraid for, is the system down of the crypto community as well as the whole blockchain technology because if this happens then probably it will be a hard time for us and a hard lost.

You mean your wallet, right? Not your portfolio. __________ What scares me most is when I bought tokens that isn't on the dump level like it keeps on dumping every time I check it, feels like I'm totally rekt. And also, when my funds are majority in altcoins and you see bitcoin is starting a ride. It sweat out my nerves.

This is something not to be afraid of, first of, you better secure and have more than one copy of your private keys. 2. afraid that the coins we choose are not potential coins.
Doing research won't give you this kind of mindset. You should know to yourself what coin is good to invest. 3. afraid when bitcoin continues to decline and can not rise again.
If you know that cryptocurrency is volatile, you should know that the decline in price of bitcoin is normal, volatility drives its price to become unstable.

I think that crypto users are usually afraid to lose their coins by cyber attack or losing private keys and the second fear is huge price dump. From the first fear we can protect ourselves with different security measures, at least when our wallets are in question and the solution for the second is to diversify investments.

We may afraid to lose our money by way of investing and when someone hacked your email or your coins/tokens , but we still have all the chance to earn it, but if the crypto industry will be gone, that is the worst one, as we can no longer have the chance to earn thru it. We can never earn what we have lost. It will be a greatest failure for all people.
