Let's start an idea and share it with others. Let's build a community and be part of it consistently. I want to help it become real. Let's build a decentralized environment otherwise we may lose what we have. As I previously bring it to the eyes of others, We need to go back to the roots and We don't need institutions to back us up

Roots mean being fully decentralized while trading or using bitcoin etc. Institutions' back up means USA's or China's initiatives for creating their own cryptocurrency. They want to eliminate bitcoin and altcoins. Check their thoughts, they don't talk about bitcoin but they refer to blockchain.

Let's identify the centralized coins here, coins and their centralized moves and list them here.
Let's declare a manifest together which takes Satoshi's Ideas as the milestone. Let me start with some, I will add when you reply here, we can vote or counter argument any.

Manifest:

1) We should have the nodes on decentralized servers, maybe on our computers.
2)
3)

Centralized Coins and Tokens:

1)

Regarding your first manifest, there are some people who run their full nodes on at-home computers. I think that offers the best decentralization + privacy, security and complete, sole control of the node. You don't know who's watching your "cloud node". I'm wondering if there is anyway we can see the number of self-hosted nodes vs the ones hosted in the cloud.

Furthermore I think we should find a way to incentivise solely the full node running. Most people who run Bitcoin full nodes are also miners, thus making the full nodes in a relative degree centralized. But how could we incentivise people to do so? - that's my question for the community

websites like bitnodes list a few nodes ~10k and its easy to search out if their 'network' is amazon or other remote service

https://bitnodes.earn.com/nodes/?q=Amazon.com,%20Inc.
out of 9450 at time of writing over 1000 are using hetzner and 800 are using amazon

......
full node users are not 'miners' a miner is a separate device that is called an ASIC and an asic connects to a pool the individual who has a ASIC in their house gains nothing from 'solo mining' from his own node but does gain something from syndicating with others in a pool where the pool manager has a full node and manages which asic gets which work

At this stage of Bitcoin's developmental status, I think it is kinda late to go back to the roots of this platform, though am not saying it is impossible. Maybe if we can really build a close-knit community that is strong and solid that can respond well with many issues affecting Bitcoin, then we can be changing the very direction which Bitcoin is going. But the main question is: can we really build a community like that? I am aware that there is really no united community for Bitcoin and maybe this is part and parcel of being decentralized. No single leader and no single group can claim for Bitcoin.

Supposed leaders of this industry are carrying there own self-vested commercial interests and these are usually the most noisy people out there. There is really no additional incentives for a good leader to emerge, in the firs place. In a sense, the weakness of human nature can be seen with people who are into Bitcoin, both self-proclaimed leaders and their followers. And I don't have to cite examples for my main argument because we are all aware of this truth. So can we change this pervading mindset in the Bitcoin industry?

Though it's good to have completely decentralized system at first glance, all of which comes with drawbacks. Not all people in crypto-space think the same and for the benefit of the whole community. Having decentralized, no regulations, would also mean that scammers, quitting ICOs, etc would not go away. As long as there's someone eager to invest in a fraudulent project for the hopes of winning, there's still someone who would take advantage of that. We may eiter stick to the roots, or implement/improve the system through collaborative open-minded ideas.

BIG WINNER!

Basically it is not the regulation that will fix the problem, it is the people who will be the key to solve the issues concerning frauds and scams. In a sense that knowledge should be obtained by everyone in the crypto space, so that they can avoid these scenarios and focus on being productive on the projects that are considerably legit. This problem could be solve by a one community where everyone has the capability to speak and ask question, and by far, we already have it, our forum.

I love that you encourage people to work together and with the help of brainstorming to identify the most effective ways of maintaining a decentralized economy. Probably the very first point could be to designate the installation on your computer software of any decentralized cryptocurrency and maintenance of its network, if there is such an opportunity and desire. Also, people should use decentralized cryptocurrencies for mutual settlements among themselves. But here, many users may be scared off by the high volatility of cryptocurrencies. The solution is to use stable decentralized coins.

If you want to do this properly, then you should register a recognizable domain and create a website to do this. A thread like this will just fade away over time and nobody will use it as a reference.

The main mandate of a project like this should be to educate people on the difference between a centralized and decentralized technology and also the threats associated with centralized Blockchain based technologies.

People should know the difference, because most of these centralized Blockchain based technologies would do more harm than good.  Angry

For now, we should build a manifest and centralized coin list. I want you to contribute to these.

What you have planned is a noble task which keep us away from centralized coins thus eliminating the risk of crypto domain being taken over by centralized organizations. But without a proper domain it will be difficult to keep the community together and I would suggest you to start a domain and create various social media groups for this cause in order to be in touch with all as it's just a matter of few hours this post will be over shadowed by new posts. We need to start with basic and you can create a telegram group to begin with and share it over here so that those who are interested can join and help us in this and I would love to be a part of it.
