Swirge.com - The best alternative to Steemit?

I was just going through the ANN Threads and found this ANN on Swirge Project:

Haven't done much research on it. But it looks like the team are adopting the same format as Steemit.com. And the rewards in posting on steemit right now is very down as steem price is down too. So is Swirge.com a new upcoming better alternative? Or just another crappy project

I do not like their user interface, it is so plain and there are so many blank spaces around the corner. Just compare it with Steemit if you want to know what I am talking about, if you want to find something that might replace Steemit or has a better pay rate and looking. i visit the website above but it looks like that website just a crappy project and never be a new facebook/steemit.
if we compare the UI from facebook/steemit with this website far from good UI

There are loads of alternatives to Steemit - for example https://trybe.one/ - but none of them have gained the critical mass that Steemit has managed.

If you have a lot of spare time on your hands, no harm trying some of these out. But just be aware that they all tend to fizzle out, Golos style.

this swirge.com website for its user interface is too poor in features, I have tried but for the tools it still feels lacking, still far different when compared to steemit especially with facebook.
Swirge in my opinion is not an option as an alternative to steemit, there are many better ones like publish0x, I am speaking not in terms of payment per post / rewards, but in terms of comfort when writing an article.

I don't really think the swirge project can stand a chance to compete with steemit, after going through it, even though I'm no longer a big fan of steemit (they killed their platform with annoying ads). Alternatives like publishox are trying a lil, although not compared to steemit still. I'm looking forward to see a better alternative (crypto project for publishing articles), for now I do more publishing mainly on medium. I thought minds project could compete with steemit to no avail, smoke.io was a joke too.

It is too early to say this project will become steemit alternative because it does not have much attention from people(it has not paid their users yet), moreover they are following steemit template. This is a flag for me because they do not have a unique characteristic that every platform must have to make people remember their platform. We have better alternatives if you are looking for it other than this project and already paid their users for using their platform.

This is good alternative but the payment still little for me, can you tell us how much  you can earn with that platform per month so we have an idea . I try this one but I guess I do it wrong because I only earn a little amount of token and lost interest of using it after i see it.

With this outdated /trying to be polite/ UI, Swirge is not an alternative of nothing...

IMO Swirge is trying to be something in between Twitter, Reddit, and Steemit and because of that, they are failing hard. The whole concept seems wrong to me.

Right. To simple. Nowadays, to attract readers, it takes an attractive and lightweight web display. In my opinion, with such a view, the reader will quickly get bored those webview need alot improvement. If this project wants to be as successful as steemit, they don't need to copy the whole steemit. Simply adding a few points lacking steemite then they will booming.

Crappy project, all of these community curation platforms are eventually gamed by the early birds.

Stick with traditional news outlets, and you won't have to filter through so many spammy, poorly written and overly-promoted posts.

I recently bumped into Swirge about 2 weeks again. Turns out it has been up and running for a while now. However, I don't really like it. It's not like I have anything against it (spoiler alert: I'm not even a Steemit fanboy). Their platform looks just like "another social media" platform powered by blockchain and incentivized by crypto. I didn't find anything interesting about their community too. Swirge is still new though, so it's subject to changes. I'll be keeping an eye on it.

I have heard about this project for the first time. I am using Publish0x for me it is much better than Steemit because also readers can earn some cryptocurrencies. What is the main advantage of this project? Also you can make crypto as a reader?

Yeah I thought as much the website UI it needs to be worked on.
And I figured out that the project is on Public beta so Swirge.com is still much open to improving on their website, they stated that they are working on an upgrade version: https://swirge.com/content/perma?id=1754 hopefully this comes with a better UI layout.
Thanks for the other alternatives. But something just keeps me watching Swirge they are working not to just be a blogging site but more. And they got no ICO so I wonder how they are funding the project.

I can't see it even as a competition. It's pretty hard to fight Steemit at the moment, the brilliance of it is the simplicity and the minimalistic look and it has already big user base and hardcore fans. Only thing you can fight it with would me adding more user options for the project, but that would easily kill the simplicity and it's hard to rethink simplicity from the ground up.

swirge.com can not be said as an alternative or a substitute for steemit.  without the lack of interface and inadequate features.  not comfortable to write an article there.  but there is a new platform that has many features, a good pliers interface and get rewards as well as steemit.  The Blog Platform  is publish0x.com which has been mentioned by many members at Dorum.  publish0x.com which deserves to be an alternative to steemit.

It's too early to tell they've just launched their platform, there's still a lot of work to do here, the interface is very simple you will still like Facebook the only perks that you are going o post here is the rewards, that they are giving, I like Steemit when they are just starting out like, let's see what they are going to bring in the table, we don't have a social media for Cryptocurrency, I think it's time to have one now, now that the community is growing.
