Probably he just referring to this article as what Binance CEO said that it is easy to predict but it's just hard to be right and timing. IMO

Every one of us can predict by simply giving random numbers whether that is bullish or bearish predictions. But it doesn't mean it will give an accurate prediction. But honestly, I am hoping too that Bitcoin will touch on that price level or maintain from that range. Yet, nobody knows.

@Coolcryptovator while this is a speculative statement, but considering it’s coming from Binance CEO himself there’re chances we may see something big happening in coming days. I did a quick google search to find out China’s population and google shows there were 1.39 million people in 2017 in China, hence you’re correct he’s referring to China’s Central Bank project only.

Don't be fooled by his position--he doesn't know what bitcoin's going to do any more than the rest of us guessers can predict.  I'm kind of surprised that the CEO of an exchange would be publicly speculating on the price of bitcoin, because that seems like a little bit of a conflict of interest to me.

Makes me wonder if he would have made an extremely bearish prediction if bitcoin was headed toward sub-$7k levels.  I have a feeling that he'd keep his mouth shut.

Meh, I doubt it.  And if bitcoin does experience a dramatic rise I don't think it's because of his statements or that he knew it was going to happen for sure.  Not that I'd be complaining either way, mind you.  lol

Bitcoin price prediction is the hardest part. You can predict the bearish and bullish market. Predicting how bearish or bullish it will be is near to impossible.

16k USD looks good to me but it will be much higher if DCEP is a factor here.

I don't think it has anything to do with China's DCEP.

He's referring to Binance's launch of peer-to-peer CNY markets for BTC, ETH, and Tether. They are also supposed to be launching a Chinese OTC platform any day now.

Probably this statement are refers to their president statement that said their country will develop blockchain technology to their country.
I'm sure CZ is one of the people that choosed by the president to develop it, and i think he will directing to bitcoin currency as a first blockchain technology in this world.
We hope his price prediction is gonna be really happen so the world's eyes would look to bitcoin again and it will attract new investors

Bruh. Predictions are easy enough, I could predict a lot but that isn't really what we are looking for in predictions. We look at the time, at its when. We all know bitcoin could reach 16k, or even higher, we all know that. Although he did state some clues like the 1.4 billion people taking action, and looking at other comments, I guess its the news about China. Some have also commented its about the Binance push in China population. We don't really know but I guess I'd like to see what he's saying about the 1.4 billion people. Although both of them are literally about China though, one is about the coin, one about an exchange pushing itself inside.

Am taking a wait and see attitude with this announcement of his though.

The guy must be referring to China and its potential impact to Bitcoin if ever the country will soon recognize Bitcoin as part of its overall vision of becoming the first country to ever launch a very successful state-controlled and centralized cryptocurrency. China may choose to recognize Bitcoin so that people can be buying its own cryptocurrency en masse. Looks like we have intelligent people now manning the cryptocurrency project of China.

About CZ, he seldom makes a prediction much more with Bitcoin and that is why many are looking at him as more credible and more believable. But as what he himself said, making predictions is the easy part making them come true can be another story. I know that you and I can also be making any predition but we do not have the stature which CZ is holding. Who knows this can even be a self-fulfilling prophecy besides $16K is not that hard for Bitcoin to achieve, anyway.

The bottomline: Let's see what will be whether this good prediction can be coming true. Only time can tell.

CZ is a shill artist same with his BFF justin sum and uncle McAfee. They always post some kind of hype news for BTC then count 2 to 3 weeks then price will go opposite. I believe he currently setup long position on leverage trading then after he take profit. He will be silently dump again the market.

Was suppose to say that same thing where we should not be blinded because of his current position in the market. Anyone can predict no matter how reputable or just an average joe. Usually on these kind of news can either make some Fomo or not to the community. If a trader that do always matter with fundamentals then surely he would utilize this one. Its a matter of choice though because these big personalities doesnt commonly give out predictions.

Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao predicting the price of bitcoin is very rare and remarkable unlike Tom Lee who is synonymous with spilling out unrealistic predictions I am convinced that Binanace CEO must have done his home work ie analysis before making such a statement he has indirectly attributed one of the fundamental reasons tied to his prediction on 1.6 billion people which I believed is coming from china I hope his prediction come to pass its gonna be a huge boast to bitcoin hodlers and its very obvious other altcoin will be bullish too.

I don't trust in any analysis, because there's no sense to predict the price of BTC unless for fun, we can follow some trends to maximize our chance of profits, but it's good when an important person like him says BTC will increase in price because people will be more confident to invest

CZ started losing credit the time when he started Shilling BNB. If you have a good product you don't need to tell people to buy it. We know he is one of the big investors in Bitcoin & trying very hard to move the price up. Probably he didn't sell at ATH in 2017 and lost patience. Another thing came in mind when big investors like him predict the price like that 2x in a few months. Looks like CZ is started selling or trying too hard.

Bitcoin price always goes opposite what mainstream media predict price movement.

Another well-known person that has a prediction on the price of bitcoin. Anybody can predict the price of bitcoin and it is easy to say but hard to happen. The 16,000$ per bitcoin is possible but it takes a couple of months to achieve. Even there any many people speak on that price still the price of bitcoin is unpredictable. Lastly, do you think at the end of this year we might see the 16,000$ per bitcoin? because for me, even though we do not see that price I want to see a good price before we end this year.

He's referring the Chinese Government own-crypto.
Changpeng Zhao is way above our levels and that's why IMO he can be right. My only concern is Chinese Gov to not go very hard against any other crypto in an attempt to impose a hard adoption on their own coin.

He speak the truth, it's true that easy to predict bitcoin price based on the market sentiment towards some circumstances in the future, even without any institutional investors or bitcoin futures, bitcoin will rise slowly but steady, but that's not the condition in the crypto sphere these days.
Bitcoin surely will reach $16K but we don't know the exact time when it takes place, probably this month, next month or even some point in 2020.
