It seems like we will continue to see fake people like this. There is no point about claiming to be Satoshi while he/she is not. I wish this nonsense would stop at once. It is not providing any good.

Well, this joke actually has happened many times and we all know that it is impossible to do by the real Satoshi. I am sure that they just want to be viral with the joke news because certainly, no one will trust in SIMS Pune's tweet. Yeah, Satoshi will never introduce himself in that way. So, just enjoy another joke of fake-Satoshi.

This don't catch me off guard cause it not a new fiasco happening in the cryptosphere and more people like Craig Wright will claim they are Satoshi since his identity not know by the community but I hope the newbies are not fool by this cause knowing Satoshi identity is not important but honor and respect the legacy he built.

I have never even heard of this one until now that you are telling me about it, and imagine that this was even 2018 that he said this and I wonder what Craig wright could have thought of too to have made that move. I never knew that we have so many stupid people in the world as much as I see these people.

They are just making a mockery of themselves when they know that they cannot defend the system, and if they cannot defend the technology behind bitcoin, why would they come out to say all those rubbish that are insinuating. I really cannot wait for the time that satoshi will show up his face and make mockery of these people, I am even talking as if they have shame, because if they had shame, they would not have even come out boldly to say all these.

I think I've seen him somewhere on facebook when someone was filming him but I just ignored that because I thought that it was kind of a joke. And now this surprised me that he's not joking.

He has labeled himself as 'co-founder'. Well, that's another guy that's claiming that they've made bitcoin. These people are crazy and keep pushing themselves to be satoshi if not, as a co-founder.

A lot of people thinks that once they claim themselves as Satoshi, they think that they can finally get what they want but little did they know that they are just putting themselves into a difficult situation? do they really think that people will believe in them without even showing a single evidence that it was them? Now they have peoples attention, what else does he want? people praising him? I can't see a single reason why we should believe him because for me we should just accept the fact that Satoshi doesn't want to reveal his/their identity and we need to respect it. Those people are just trying to deceive us because they think it will be beneficial to them which is definitely not.

I think they're all aware of the consequences that they are about to take before even claiming as if they are the creator of bitcoin. They planned it somehow and looked into the situation that might occur after the claim.

We have seen a lot of them claim to be satoshi but as usual, we don't believe them and I guess this is their way to gain the media and people's attention for them. They are selling themselves with a product that they've never made.

Don't they have some kind of legitimacy papers and also background checking before letting a man walk that stage and put some bullshit into the minds of the students or whoever is audience is?
This aint good for the school if they are doing it without even those type of rules.

We all know this silly trand so I don't talk about that but by the way I have one question: Don't they know about bitcointalk forum? And don't they know that when they do such silly statements, people see that and laugh at them? I wonder if any "faketoshi" was member of this forum before coming up with such ideas. That's a shame.

People don't care about looking silly, they accept that the moment they claim to be the inventor of Bitcoin publicly. Every clown claiming to be satoshi is getting a shit ton of media attention, which is exactly what they are after.

Some days ago Andreas Antonopolous in a tweet warned his followers about how another faketoshi (going by the name Jorg Molt) pretends to be friends with him to gain trust. It's obviously a good thing that Andreas warns his followers, but he directly made sure that the dude got featured in dozens of articles because of that. He got the fame he was looking for, and that with little effort.

Craig Wright should sue the dude for impersonating him.

I'm definitely not defending this new iteration of faketoshi, but the "Satoshi Nakamoto" name is just a pseudonym, hence it doesn't automatically mean that the real Satoshi Nakamoto is actually from Japan. Heck, if I were Bitcoin's creator and if I were Japanese, I most definitely would not choose a Japanese pseudonym if I wanted to remain as anonymous as possible.

Maybe, they don't even know that bitcointalk exist lol. a lot of self proclaim that they are satoshi is those who are not knowledgable enough that bitcoin is extensive and much more can be done. those fake one's are just pretentious simple investor of btc that
deceive those who have no interest in the digital currency or the existence of bitcoin. that's why fake one will still appear and will create damaging reputation of bitcoin. members here will stop them of their fake dreams.

If I'm not mistaken, he didn't claim to be Satoshi but a "co-founder of bitcoin". But regardless of his claims, it's still irritating to see how he has no shame to call himself a co-founder of bitcoin. If he does, why can't he tell who the real Satoshi is?
If you searched his name on the internet, you'll see a lot of posts or articles saying he's a co-founder. How? Can he even prove it? Also additional information, I saw something that he's the CEO of Satoshi school. And it looks like he's really trying to be related with Satoshi and along with the creation of bitcoin.

Or probably Satoshi is so brilliant enough that he foresees how people would interpret his pseudonym. It is totally joked proclaiming that he is the co-founder of bitcoin. I have seen a lot of thread about Satoshi Nakamoto and it always tackles about his real identity but I do not believe that because we all know no one here can tell what his real identity and no one can prove where he is and we do not know how we can find him. Lastly, I agree with that last sentence that you have said the real Satoshi Nakamoto will never reveal himself and I hope they will stop proclaiming that they are the real founders of bitcoin.
