Any investment will be risky to join but IEO is still considered a new choice for many people and this could change his life. even if you buy Bitcoin or top altcoin in the market, you WONT get guarantee for getting profit
moreover, if you buy very high risk high return investment like ICO/IEO, ofc you wont get guarantee too
I know that many ICO/IEO are scam. But we cant generalize that all ICO/IEO is scam too. there are good especially in IEO
look at Binance IEO and you will know how good it is. many of their IEO is successfull

I think many of us did the same thing, I remember thinking that altcoins were the future and that many of the coins in the market had a real chance to challenge bitcoin and now I cannot believe I had those views at some point, this market belongs to bitcoin and most likely this is going to be true forever and since then I only follow bitcoin and a few other altcoins that are actually good and have gained the recognition of the community since those are the only coins that will survive in the case of another bear market.

Not counting how many ico / ieo projects I have participated in since I became familiar with this forum, there are lots of sweet stories in 2017 that hopefully it will be repeated again in the following year, and hope that from the ico / ieo project we can buy a car instead of the other way around.

Happy to say I completely ignored all ICOs/IEOs and shit in 2019. I was tempted by a few IEOs but then the prospect of just waiting in line to buy stupid tokens that would dump threw me off. I also think that 2020 offers many opportunities for new projects as well as recover prices for Altcoins and tokens.
