Another day another good trade, check this out

https://i.imgur.com/nZJrbKA.jpg

3 successive winning trades in a row! Kudos! Seems like you've so much luck. To me, Scalping + margin = playing with fire but somehow you're profiting off it. That's impressive. That R:R is above mine so I won't be participating in your Twitter calls. That's way too much risk that I can take. not with all the liquidation stories I've seen and her. Congrats to you. I wish you luck in future trades you'd make.

Thank you mate!

hi guys, check out my last trade, traded on margin and caught the scalping movement, got a fairly accurate entry, what do you think about this trade? As for it's possible to make a profit in a sideways market
https://i.imgur.com/OBkhTrS.png
I think it would be helpful if you tell what was the trigger which you actually used to choose this trade because as far as I can see this was mere luck because market tried to revisit that upward resistance after a retracement downward if it could have broken out the channel you might have got liquidated. Was it some sort of price action which helped you take this trade?

when determining the entry point, I use level analysis, volume analysis, look at the order book, and of course the price action

Not bad profit yet a risky one since the market had been moving sideways a past few days.Just be grateful that you had make such good entry but dont
think always that this would be sustainable or would be permanent.Hence, scalping with margin is one of the most difficult thing on trading.
Big rewards yet bigger risk.

Scalping with margins is only intended when we are confident of current market conditions, otherwise we must accept greater risk. Not always the market will side with our predictions, I myself better to trade safely with low risk maybe occasionally try scalping with margin when the market is good.

I like scalping in a sideway move but when it comes to a trend I use more classic strategies and always control my risks

For me, Scalping is one of the interesting trading strategies used for trading. However, it is also one of the most risky strategies, such as a large decline that can quickly wipe out all your previous profits. With this strategy, traders should choose the lowest fee floor and always place a stop loss order.
Scalping is an unsuitable strategy for the volatile market. Such strategies are useful in the Forex market, where prices move more slowly. If you want to make money with this strategy with BTC, your balance may turn to zero in a short time. The possibility of a price moving fast in the opposite direction you expect is equal to the possiblity of earning.

What if I say that you can use stop losses, also did you heard about options that bitfinex plan to launch in January 2020, that could be a good alternative to stop losses and you can easily hedge your position

I disagree, because i'm also a scalper and its really profitable if you know where to entry and exit with profits. You have to be very fast and not to aim too much big profits in order to make profits and exit in the market. Forex is different yes but it doesn't mean that it could be crypto trade movement. Scalping works if the strategy is good.

I agree with your opinion that scalping is not as easy as we think, scalping the trade must be very observant because otherwise our balance will run out because of the cutlose. so far I have never done it because in my opinion it is more prone to loss because sometimes market moves that cannot be read.

You really managed to find a good entry point, I would even say no to no. But what do you plan to do next? Margin trading is very dangerous, I lost a lot of money on it.
Even in combination with scalping, which is less risky than regular trading, margin increases risks many times over.
I am currently in a short trade with x10 leverage. Let's see what happens.

It is possible to get profit on margin. You can check out my topic, I've made 50x within 5 days on scalping with high leverage.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5177585.msg52223769#msg52223769

But it is too risky at the same time, so take care about risks in advance.
