I am fine with preev.com as I have been using it for years without any problems. But, I feel now they are not having enough altcoins support. I mean we can use preev only for BTC, LTC and dogecoins. But, now I look for using waves for my payments hence for getting quick USD rates for my waves; I look for any new services.

It would be too good if we are able to add/select more number of coins similar to how we are able to switch different currencies and gold, silver on the other end. Some years back people mentioned about few alternates of preev when preev was down for few hours. But, I could not recall them as it was very long back.

I've been using it now and then for more than a year and I can tell it has been pretty reliable. You just have to make sure the "socket connected" sign is green on the right side.

Yep, It's a shame Preev didn't adapt and add more altcoins. And to add to @NeuroticFish's suggestion, other alternatives:

- Coinval: there are more altcoins, I think all existing coins are there https://coinval.co/ You can create your own portfolio and bookmark a special link
- Coinmarketcap: it has a tool similar to Preev https://coinmarketcap.com/converter/
- Snipta: there are only 8 cryptos and 8 currencies, still better than Preev...https://snipta.com/
- Coinwatch.com: Like Coinmarketcap with a currencies converter, it has a few altcoins/fiats https://www.coinwatch.com/cryptocurrency/converter

3) Coinranking doesn't have a cryptocurrency converter
4) Crypti is a desktop app

Good websites were suggested but still I want to include on of them which hasn't written. This website is called: https://bitcoinian.com/ and is made by one of our member named:
teamer. Website looks as simple as preev but still better than that one. Seems because of good fantasy, there are not only btc/usd rates but also btc/banana rate, btc/lambo rate...
In overall there is six cryptocurrency which includes Bitcoin of course, Dash, Eth, LTC, Monero and Ripple.

Personally I knows that snipta.com and coinval.co are best alternative thing for preev but its already suggested earlier so I trusted google but again its proved me why I don't have to trust google blindly.

Honestly, probably I have never used Preev for other currencies than Bitcoin. When I need to convert other cryptocurrencies, I simply enter something like "Monero to EUR" or similar on Google and go to first website shown in search results.
I tried to look for Preev alternatives for altcoins, but failed  to find. From what I saw, I haven't found website which would be convenient as Preev, with basic design, not many ads and other uneccessary stuff.

Not checking Preev rates for I think almost a year now also because of that few supported coins.

As an alternative and saw the improvement of this site as it progress, I refer to Coingecko for coin pricing now. It looks like a modified version of how Coinmarketcap viewed a coin but with a USD converter.

Maybe it's your cookies I've asked some of my friends on social media 8 of them and they all told me they are using it and it's rarely goes down, in fact, I have been using this for several days now, it's a good tool because you can convert it to over hundreds of local currency, but will contact my host on why it is not live on some countries and install a traffic snippet so I can track traffic, I'm seldom promoting this only when needed ask like in this situation but so far it has a good traffic rank

The traffic rank itself isn't that good, but what I'm more surprised about is the time spent per user on the site;

That to me indicates the demand for a site that allows you to convert a ton of shitcoins where preev is stuck just supporting a few. In the stats it's also visible that preev is losing popularity, which should ring some alarm bells to start listing shitcoins too, because the demand is there. If preev isn't following the demand, people will move away.
