2016-2019 the WAVES community was promised a swap of Sasha Ivanovs old NXT ICOs.
Until today nothing has happend and a community member started to distribute INDEX and CRYPTOFUND nxt assets to alot of members.
Now came a answer from Petr Korotin (Waves Manager) that says:

"We are thrilled to announce that all the tokens from the latest revealed list are being swapped successfully and every holder received $WCT (Waves Community Token) in exchange for them."

This is a lie, until now nobody received something for their COINOMAT, CRYPTOFUND, INDEX, NEXT nxt assets.

Sasha therefore will keep the funds for himself.

The old nxt assets are still traded on Nxt Dex.

With so many decentralised crypto currencies, why people still get involved in currencies where they need to trust third party?  Why they simply dont use fiat or paypal? For sure is better to trust some 10-100 years old company then one random guy from internet.

Is your complaint about the distribution of WCT? Or is it about not distributing airdrops even though WCT is in your account? Or did you think WCT would be airdopped for COINOMAT, CRYPTOFUND, INDEX, NEXT? Because, if I remember correctly, WCT would only be given to those who hold WAVES.

I have told you guys if waves were a garbage platform since it was created. Waves is a scam project. I have seen some people who claimed as investors in coinomat have already made so many accusations on its official thread

and a few months have already passed and they still don't get any feed back about their problem. It looks like that if you are having enough proof and just try to create a lawsuit against coinomat or report it to the regulator.
 
It looks like so many people have been loosing a lot of their money. It's better to create a scam accusation about that to create awareness.

This is scary to be honest as I have some really good waves on leasing on their platforms and to be honest I never liked their marketing ideas as they always harm the project without giving it the option to rise with the tech or development they're making. Also I remember back in 2016 the rumors that the biggest whale of cryptocurrency got involved into waves , does someone knows if that rumor is still relative in a way or another ? Thanks.

Hm.  I remember when waves came out a few years ago and I remember all the hype it generated, much like Lisk, and I think they came out at about the same time.  I'm not sure that waves is a decentralized cryptocurrency, because most coins have their own 'leaders' and in this case it sounds like the promise that was made doesn't necessarily have anything to do with waves itself...am I right?

Still not a good sign if this waves big shot is reneging on something.

I don't know much about it, but I'll take your word for it.  And even if the project isn't a scam it still is a failure, not catching on after 3 years at all.  And all that initial hype, too.  What a waste.

Yeah, and in 3 years the volume on their trading platform is not worth the effort to trade there.
This could be the reasons into why they are doing swaps.
There are freebies here. Who? What?
Those who doesn't care anymore with their Waves.
One of them is me. I have been using the waves trading platform before but the order will take forever before sold.
So I stopped. It is decentralized but how come they do so much things like this. Swap there and add this and that and so on and forth.
It is just crazy or there is something fishy going beyond it.

The waves raised a lot of money, including large corporate investors. Having promised fantastic things. I remember them from the moment they appeared, the founder called himself Sasha, and not as in a passport (Alexander), probably to look like Buterin. (instead of Vitaly --- Vitalik). Waves is a highly centralized, untrustworthy project.

That  whales surely leave that project a long time ago . If that person still there the price might not that low , i do not expect anything any more with waves b,efore there are many ways  you can earn money such as leasing or free crypto tokens sending direct to your wallet. But now even WCT is enough to get what you have lose .

Waves same as other leading cryptocurrencies reached the market and grew from the dust. Got a good sum of investors that marked it to serve as the base for other projects. Cryptocurrency market is always a risk involved market, and here we cannot point others as the reason for loss. We need to be careful and do invest after perfect analysis. There are projects that make comparison their product with bitcoin. This is just promotion, for the same we should not fall for it.

Am I perhaps wrong but during dealing with waves there will definitely be obstacles that seem the same as those experienced. whether the waves are very problematic or if it is the people who have problems. because I often experience things like this.
so I really avoided contact with waves.

Never been a fan of waves since long ago. And with how popular waves used to be, or is it still now?, it was kinda a let down that a startup/project that were using waves blockchain aint that good either. And so many people keep saying that waves is a failure and etc. Is this one of the reason that waves is no good?

Oh wow! I haven't followed nxt / waves very closely for a long time and first i thought that this must have been a mistake from op, because why would they want to angry their community, especially even when both waves and nxt little bit overlap as a communities, they are freaking huge ones. But looks like the whole community is pissed off right now. Damn, i feel really sorry for them, i loved the nxt community. This is a huge mess.

Now I know why there was a rumor talking about Waves funds are dried up, Waves investor should think twice holding this coin.
First of all it is because they are holding other people funds, and another reason is they are selling their stake on Vostok because they want to develop the project.
It shows to us that Waves do not have much money and without a resource, they will not go anywhere. Avoid Waves at all costs because it is going to be used as a manipulation ground when the bull starts.
