Hi, I just try to register on YoBit exchange to join signature campaign on Bitcointalk, but when I try to submit application is coming out this information:

"Registration is temporary off."

Are these problems just temporary or has this situation been going on for a long time? How long can it take to fix this?

Try registering with another device/internet connection. You get this in some devices/IPs because of some abuse protection Yobit has. Registrations aren’t really off.

It looks like YoBit has concerns about the network I'm connected to. It worked out from the mobile phone. Thanks for the advice.

My experience
Try registering using VPN because from some countries I can't register for Yobit, I also registered Yobit first. There is a writing like that after using VPN I can register in Yobit to follow the campaign in the signature.

This often happens when you already have an account on the same IP address you are trying to create another account with.
I do not know if VPN can help but you can change your Ip address when you off your server and restart it.

Seems fine for me, I didn't actually click submit though, so maybe it won't go through. Probably blocking off registrations from IPs as TryNinja says... people have multiple accounts there I guess thanks to a rather lucrative campaign ongoing.

Already have an account there from years ago, even remember selling my fork coins there. One of the more... colourful exchanges with a lot of reputation and stories around them, make sure you know what you're getting into;)

This often happens when you already have an account on the same IP address you are trying to create another account with.

Seems you are familiar with the matter? That would make the most sense considering it possibly being a move to curb down on cheaters and whatnot now they're a hot target because of their signature campaign that's so loosely managed by their bot. They went from 20 posts a day to 10 posts, to 5 posts now. They don't care about the flood of spam, so it must be related to abuse.

Easy solution would be to hand over some coins to yahoo every week or month and let him do everything manually. Would have saved them a lot of money. Roll Eyes

Curb down the cheaters? Could there be any big cheaters than YoBit itself? Cheesy

I doubt handling manually will be an effective solution for them since they want to do things at scale that is hire like 1000 signature participants and pay them pennies. Even yahoo would probably get exhausted managing so many participants along with these other campaigns. So yeah automation is their choice.

With the amount of participants in the campaign i do not think that it will be an easy job for yahoo to check everything manually, now he can monitor the quality of the content and can take actions, if not it will take a week to count all the post as there are almost 500 users in the campaign if i am not wrong and when it comes to saving the money, they are getting a lot of liquidity with the coins earned as people will be converting bitcoin to other coins while withdrawing because of the huge withdrawal fees they are charging for bitcoin.

Touche. Pretty ironic isn't it? The cheater is being cheated on. Karma. Cheesy

---

If yahoo was assigned to handle the job manually, he wouldn't allow there to be many more than 50 or so participants based on his previous and current campaigns under management. It would also solve the spamming problem largely as the participants selected are generally average or above, so not spammers.

It will give Yobit much more value for their money as well, because it means longer and higher quality exposure for less money spent. Considering that they keep adjusting their number of daily posts southwards, they'll either put a stop to the campaign soon or hand it over to yahoo entirely.

Just to clarify.

I had an account, or maybe two on Yobit in past, but a long time ago. I just don't remember how I logged in there, so I decided to open a new account to join this campaign.
It seems that this is not an IP block, because I created an account from a cell phone while connected to the same network (the message "temporary off" was on the laptop but connected with this same network, so IP should be this same on phone and laptop).
It is possible that this is a device or browser block.

IP block is the top priority when exchange security are been measured, your case is only peculiar for either of the following reasons:
Your desktop already have yobit cookie stored.
It has been a while you log in from the same ip address especially from your mobile device.
Most internet services providers does not offer static ip address to their users.

My conclusion on your success.
Your ip address is different, the yobit cookies on your desktop stops the registrations but you do not have yobit cookies on your mobile device and that made your registration successful.

Did you use VPN? Have you cleared your cache/cookies? What kind of browser that you use? Which one failed to access the register window? Lots of questions needs to be answered and the best way to do it is to ask Yobit directly.

Your ip address is different, the yobit cookies on your desktop stops the registrations but you do not have yobit cookies on your mobile device and that made your registration successful.

Most IP blocking comes with range, and assuming he's using the same network, his IP wouldn't be that different. Especially if he didn't reset and just connect his phone to the router.

Nice to see this thread turn into another 'yobit should do this and that for their campaign'.

No, I don't use VPN.
No, when I created the account I did not clear cookies.

BUT!

I was curious what's going on and cleared cookies in the FireFox browser and unfortunately it is possible to open another account.
So it's not an IP blocker, it's just a browser. That is poor security, but Yobit could come up with an idea and make an limit on IP. I think that would be a good idea.

So, you do able to make an account or registered a new one on using up a phone? which isnt possible when do make use of your laptop?
If thats the case then we cant directly point out that this one is even a device/browser block. I tried to reg with my pc and my phone and
both of them are working.

With all due respect ... if you had read my last post you would understand that all you have to do is clear cookies in your browser.
It didn't occur to me because I thought it was some sort of system error or IP blocking. It turned out to be trivial and can bypass any teenager.

In other words - the case is closed!
