Blockchain - Cryptocurrency; Driving me mad.

Lately,I have cultivated the habit of reading and researching. This is because I want to add value wherever I find myself around the blockchain -cryptocurency space. I have seen good projects doing well and the supposedly one wallowing in retrogression.

Until now, I haven't come across any such project that integrate Messenger (Chat/messaging app), Wallet and Web 3 browser which is what I called MW². I was yet thinking this in my mind when I found out STATUS. To tell you what Status does:

Such use cases as Status's is not quite common out there. What amuses me most is how Blockchain, Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general are changing the world so fast with astounding innovations.

A few crypto projects which promise to release messenger app in the past didn't actually release the product after showcasing the MVP. Does STATUS have a functional messenger app as at now? Well the features mentioned here makes sense if it's not just features on the whitepaper. I've not really researched on STATUS, since it's 88th position on coinmarketcap it implies the project is fair. It's a good thing crypto and blockchain cuts across many sectors, but the major problem now is attaining mainstream adoption even with the innovations.

Nice introduction to promote a project, I have seen many project in the past around 2017 the proposes messanging in a wallet. When you search crypto wallet with messenger in google many crypto project will appear but I haven't try any of it. Looking at Status being already in CMC top 100 can really have something interesting, their android application is still in development phase. Will try to install it and will wait how others will review it.

Personally, I think cryptocurrency is a great novelty. Since technology has stepped far into the future, and everyone was very impressed. Since in the field of financial transactions, many have experienced all the comforts of financial payments. And now cryptocurrency is the only means of payment worldwide. Not bad for a marketing but Status is already a well known project.

Such project isn't easy to materialized. If they intend people to make transactions within the web3 browser with chat on it, then its going to be heavily equipped with security codes on it. Status (SNT) is one of the project which gathered a lot of funds during their ICO probably even the top 10 of all projects in crypto, it attracted a lot of investors and I guess having its cheap price today didn't stop those people from trading and investing to it.

There are literally 100s of such cryptocurrency that aims to target most of what you mentioned. Libra too is an example of integrating a messenger(status messenger), crypto wallet, and Web browser built with state of the art technology and another decentralized approach is Gram. They too aiming at hitting all the three mentioned objectives.

I saw several projects that promised to create something like this, but none of these projects created anything. I like the idea of ​​combining a messenger and a crypto wallet, but I have not seen any such working application.

Usually, I am not investing in projects that are always promising to release new products. A solid project must have a working product before going live on the market, and almost nobody has a working solution yet.

These are ideal factors. But it is very unlikely that we will be able to see such a product in the near future. Most likely it will take a lot of time for society to be able to inquire about this topic. Until then, we will see pathetic attempts by people like Pavel Durov and Mark Zuckerberg to change the world. China seems to have popularized the cryptocurrency and at the same time wants to adopt a law that prohibits bitcoin mining. Gradually, governments are killing the cryptocurrency industry. Without their support, we can not cope.

I know how you feel, overwhelmed. I felt so too the first time I learnt about bitcoin, cryptocurrency and the underlying technology - Blockchain. It's completely revolutionary. This goes beyond our archaic banking ledger. As for status, the project haven't really been going the way I initially expected especially during the time the ICO was held. It was one of the most talked about project in 2017. Conference, Meetups etc. The hype around it has died down a lot. It was top 20 in CMC at some point.

Blockchain technology is awesome. Knowing what to build and how to scale it up to main stream is a key concern.

Seeing your subject, I had actually hoped to read a good OP and participate in the discussion, but I'm not disappointed as this pattern(your thread)is another method of advertisng for shit projects.

Now tell me what learning about the blockchain technology/cryprocurrency has to do with a project, you can learn, read and understand a whole lot about the blockchain technology and bitcoin without investing in any project or coin.
