I found an EMI (Bilderlings), located in the UK and authorized by FCA, and when searching about it I figured it's supposed to be a 'crypto-friendly' EMI. But nothing on the website is mentioning cryptocurrency.

They provide a multi-currencies account with a dedicated IBAN and/or British account, a MC card, international payments, etc. (Similar to what TransferWise does currently). They accept almost any country except a dozen, European citizens pay fewer fees, for others, the fees are very high by the way.

Quote
Bilderlings Pay Ltd is an electronic money institution focused on providing European digital payment system. Bilderlings Pay Ltd offers current accounts, international payments, cryptocurrency trading, accepting cryptocurrency payments, processing for crypto projects, prepaid cards MasterCard, prepaid cards Visa to natural persons (international and EU), legal entities (international and EU). Bilderlings Pay Ltd performs international transfers in 33 currencies. Incorporated in the United Kingdom, Bilderlings Pay Ltd is authorized and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

Even in a blog post, they are suggesting to people to invest in cryptocurrencies Where to invest on the internet

Is there someone with an account there?

What's an EMI?
Sorry, it stands for Electronic money institution or payments processors

Never heard of them. However the domain is live from 2012 which means they are here from fairly long time.

From the look it seems like Payoneer. As far as I know with Payoneer you can have virtual bank account or something and it seems this company is also talking about something like this.

What's an EMI?

Never heard of them. It reads like somewhere BTC-e would've used back in the day. That article about internet 'investment' quadruples down on that assessment. If my bank told me Russian domains were a viable investment I'd tell them to fuck off and close my account instantly.
