[Resolved] First time betting at Fortunejack withdrawal delay

Hey guys,

I usually bet on another site but this sunday I decided to try out fortunejack for sportsbetting. I deposited 0.5 BTC and placed 2 bets on some champions league matches.
Yesterday at half time my bets were doing good, so I decided to use the cashout option and I cashed out my winnings before the matches ended. I ended up winning about 1.6 BTC. I decided to withdraw the 1 BTC and placed a 0.6 BTC bet for one of today's champions league match.

I got an email yesterday:

Your current withdrawal is going under standard security check, it may take longer than usual, as all transactions are checked by our security team.

If there is a need to confirm withdrawal we send the request to your registration email.

I was very worried and I talked to the live chat agent, he told me they would contact me tomorrow. I have used my vpn on the site, but I have also logged in with my regular IP, so I thought that might be the reason, I asked him if vpn's are not allowed. He told me changing IP is not restricted.

Today I got an email again:


We are contacting you in regards to your account status. FortuneJack strictly enforces its policy of not allowing multiple accounts, and your account has been found to be associated with at least one additional account, which could be considered illegitimate use of our website.
 
In direct accordance with our Terms & Conditions, winnings obtained by a player found to have multiple accounts are considered illegitimately obtained and will not be credited to the player's account and/or voided. This applies to any additional Games or Services that you participate in with funds obtained from illegitimate website use.
 
Failure to meet the requirements of FortuneJack's security policies can result in any or all of the following security procedures:
- Withhold all active transactions until further notice.
- Withhold all existing financial resources at user's disposal.
- Permanently discard all associated accounts.
 
Please reply directly to this email regarding the multiple accounts associated with your profile.
 
If you do not comply within 3 Days, we will unfortunately have to begin conducting the aforementioned security procedure(s).

Now I am very confused I've never bet on this site before so I don't know what's going on. It might be the vpn I used but I've also used my regular IP, so that shouldn't be it since the live chat agent told me it's fine. I'm pretty sure I haven't made any accounts before, I might have made one years ago to check the site out, but the chance of that is very slim, but I'm 100% sure I've never placed a bet on this site before.

Update: It took 1.5 Days but my withdrawal has been released.

Not playing with Fortunejack, but that is typical bullying from bookmakers side, when they don't want to pay you. From my experience you will have a hard time getting that money back, so better write it off. Discussing with them will lead to nothing, they 99% won't change their mind and will refer to their T&C's all the time. The support staff you will be talking to are no decision makers and forget about talking to someone who is actually a decision maker.

As a bettor you are just doomed with these kind of methods. You won't get any help from authorities as these offshore-licenses are not worth the paper they are written on.

Going public with these kind of incidents is probably the best way. It puts some pressure on those companies, but chances are still slim unless you can 100% prove you did nothing wrong. If you can't do that, they will just hold up their accusations, until you finally give up and take it on the chin. Sad but true.

Even if you never used this site before,you connected now with a VPN which might be used by many people already so that is the reason why you are in problem now.It clearly mentioned in their ToS so you can't do anything other than request them your deposited money.

I decided to post on here because it's a lot of money and I'm kind of worried, so I wanted to see if people have experienced these issues before. I checked online before and it seemed like they were pretty legit and paid out people.

Be careful with any new site your gonna try, my advice is to make minor bets to begin with to see if they legit pay even then, a 0.5 BTC deposit on something so new is asking for trouble.

They just sent me a random account, that has been linked to my account. So I replied back that it might be the vpn that caused this and I told them my real IP and that I've logged on on that before aswell. So I hope this will get resolved.

They will and they should give your money back provided you did not violate any of their rules. Fortunejack is a very old trusted name and i have played on this site for a long time. Your money will be refunded hopefully, just be patience and respond to their messages.

^ Definitely right, I was using this site before and I never had a problem. Okay, I don't think if your purpose is to discuss your problem here or to resolve it with the help of forum members. As I have said the gambling site I used before is fine, I did not encounter any problem. So, I think they will not ruin their reputation since they are old and trusted gambling site. I will advise you to show proof, something screenshot and also for the emails the sent it to you. Nevertheless, let's wait for the fortunejack staff to answer your concern.

Most gambling services deny withdrawals on accounts that have changed IP (ex., from Germany IP to South Korean IP) since the account might be compromised and it's a preventive measure to avoid such things for happening. They will first review your account activity and ask you a couple of questions before giving the go signal for a withdrawal if all things matched. Fortunejack will not run out with your funds, that I can guarantee, especially since they have established and built this brand from the ground up and are running for years now.

So they were considering your suspension or termination,now you have to be patience and follow the instructions given from the fortunejack support staff.Hopefully they will find you are not abused anything just wanted to keep your privacy.

You are right, I've already known this gambling site over a years and so far all minor issues have been solved. Probably this is not the right amount to run if they had a plan to exit. Just wait and keep send an update on their support. Explain to them that you are trying to hide you privacy via using PVN. This is something suspicious to them when the IP address suddenly changed into another country for example. Have you tried to post on their ANN thread regarding this matter?

This is straight Bullshit. They just don't want to pay you. You won big and they were looking for a reason to stop your pay and they did.
Even if you used multi account then what's the problem i don't understand? You actually did risked your 0.5 BTC no? It's not like you were trying to make money by their promotions. They have no right to block your withdraw. They wouldn't stop you from betting if you lose but if you win they play multi-account straight up BS.

I can assure you that Fortunejack is a good gambling site.They aren't scam since the situation you are facing is part of their security measure where to hold up
funds when theres a sudden change of IP and since their support had already replied out about this case then theres nothing you can do but to wait up but don't be

The same IP should have been allocated and when created the account suspending of withdrawal takes place. Now answer me one thing even if the user had multi accounts but he did actually risked 0.5 btc. Any sportsbetting site for that matter shouldn't hold his winnings. In this case, he wasn't trying to misuse their promotions or illegitimate betting. He did actually risked 0.5 btc and won so i don't understand the BS behind multi-accounting. If fortunejack really have problems with multi-accounting they should ban the IP from registering another account itself. Why don't they do that? The reason is clear so that they can SCAM users both ways.If the user lose the bet clearly it's the loss but if he wins,they have the reason of stating the account is a multi-account. Win-Win situation for fortunejack lol. That's why i hate most sportsbook now a days. They can hold your withdraw and give a shit reason. Why do you think it's a good idea to play on a gambling platform with a VPN? You do realize that probably thousands of other people have used that very same IP address, and at least a couple have used it to play on FortuneJack right?

This is the risk you take when using public VPNs, if you're going to do it, at least make sure you have a dedicated IP address.

You're going to have a difficult time proving you're not a multi-accounter. But either way you should get your money back I don't see why they are allowed to keep it.

If you are going to play on their website then you have to follow all their privacy policies and you also agrees that when you are registering,if you are not aware of the consequences of your careless action then which violates their terms and conditions let you in this situation.But they didn't shut doors for OP,support team is talking to him so when everything will be cleared he might get his money back.

this has happened with me in the last Copa America before I won their leaderboard for 1 BTC , but after long conversations with support it was resolved
the suspected account was my friend in college and he was betting some of the plays that I bet , so they had good reason to suspect that

but after applying some logic they solved the problem , for example my friend was betting really small like no more than 2 mbtc a bet while I was making X10-20 these stakes so it didn't make sense to multi account to bet 1-2 mbtc extra ( also both of the accounts weren't limited so it doesn't make sense to multi account at first place) ,  no promotion was abused and he didn't make any single bet on Copa America

looking at your post you said you bet the champions league and that's good enough to not multi account cause I don't know any site that limits people who are betting the champions league
