What exactly does decentralised means? Your platform is being controlled by you. Which means it is a centralized sports book.

i went to the site and hit the play now button but obviously it was a work in progress page!
so the site is not even working yet!
 a bit premature to launch a website for gambling if it is not working yet!
 so before i go any further i would need other people to verify this also once it is up and running
and a bit of trust is also a obvious idea needed for this website!

You can try election where users can bet which candidate could win in the election and you can bet as well.  Or you can create a boxing match like in sportsbetting, seem decentralized to me if this is the case.

right.. the concept that the OP has to offer is more decentralized.  for example today there is a match schedule MU vs Chelsea, then I open a betting room for the match.. everyone can make their own bets and become a moderator, this seems like a good concept. CMIIW

You can create any event, imagine a match going on between Real Madrid vs Barcelona. You can create an event like Real Madrid to score 3 or Benzema to get a hat-trick (not possible though  ) etc and when players bet on your event, you can get money from the bookie. This is really a great idea. I will wait for some feedback and later give it a try.

 - I get the players, I create tournaments, I mean I put all the efforts to get them to use your platform and I get only 5% of the pot? How retarded does that sound? I'd rather use a forum escrow and pay 5% of the total pot to him to organize the tournament.

I would like to know if the platform has social networks? And if there is the possibility of squaring an event, does the platform also advertise for more people? Or is it the account of the creator of the event?

Apologies to those trying to get on the site, we had to conduct some temporary maintenance to the site.

The objective of the site is to allow users to create their own betting events, promote those events and then get paid a percentage of the pot. Event creators have the ability to tag each event with their twitter account as a way of "verifying" their event and you can search for the events of the creators you trust.

There are no odds, it's a straight up win or lose and payouts are proportional to the amount you paid into on your side of the wager. This I hope will create a natural odds system.

There is absolutely nothing done within a database or backend server, just the display of the site. The only 3rd party intervention would be disputes and are handled by me, which should occur rarely.

On the site itself, there are detailed FAQ's to help you navigate the functionality much better.

Seems that your site is pretty much easy to use. However, even if you are aiming to be decentralized sportsbook, are you considering to have btc as accepted currency in the future? Or is it already out of your plans to include other crypto and just focus on being decentralized?

The goal of the site is to be completely decentralized, so using a smart contract platform is the only way to achieve that. Unfortunately, that means that we won't be accepting BTC directly but we could expand what we allow in the future for collateral as long as it's an ERC-20 coin, which means we could accept WBTC, currently we only support ETH, USDC, and BXY.

I'm open to modifying the percentage, what would be a good percentage for event creators to receive?

I agree with you that there's several things lacking and thus the website could do improvement on but let's not forget that these guys are new and maybe with time they'll listen to the useful comments left on here...or else there might not be much future
