I have a unused $250 coupon for http://www.hashaltcoin.com

Can I use this coupon for collateral worth the same amount in crypto?

Probably not. Most people wouldn't find value in the coupon.
Good collateral is easily-liquidated if there is a default.

What would prevent you from using the coupon after the user sends you the loan? For what would you use the loan this time, anyways? Are you still trying to upgrade your account in the ponzi website? I hope you still don't think risking someone's money in an obvious scam is a good idea.

Hell NO! I reported that site BTW. The ONLY site I would use it (the collateral) IS on hashaltcoin.com for a Blackminer F1 mini (on NO other site)
hashaltcoin.com sells asic miners (they are legit)

Yes and No It's a $250 "unspesified" coupon - so I guess it could be used on the $179 miner - yes (which is my plan) I don't actually wanna use it for
collateral (the coupon) - I just wanted to know if it was possible? (Pure curiosity)

If you want a short direct answer (even though it been answered for you already) then the answer is no, it cannot. Coupons cannot be secured and who to say you wont use it after getting the loan due to you having access to it.
