Would it be really suits the social media platforms to be decentralized? Because I am not really a fan of using social media sites but I know what it contains, feeds, pictures, photos, some have games and applications installed on it. But the essence of blockchain could be possible for creation of accounts and merely, to integrate identity system of the users that will use a particular social media site. In addition, the combination of the social media platform with a cryptocurrency would be a great idea, so people could transact and pay money while they are interacting with people and simply while socializing.
