Honestly, I didn't know this much social media platform existed on the blockchain or are tokenized, I knew of just about 5 of them.. Steemit, Golos, Lbry, Publish0x and one more that I haven't seen on that list... It's a forum similar to Bitcointalk but it has it's own token unlike this magnificent forum that focuses most of it's attention on Bitcoin. The name of the forum is Altcoinstalk.com

Personally I still think that Steemit is going to be the biggest player within the field, because of the fact that I think it's just so far ahead in terms of its first mover advantage as well as its development (finally out of beta this year, I believe) over the rest of the tokens.

But obviously, we've seen Myspace and FB used as an example time and time again, and if Steemit does not innovate in the near future it could end up with the same fate.

Steemit is still sustained by its user base, there are at least 100 who earn an amazing amount by typing, witnesses love the ecosystem, there are hundreds of community projects, hivemind (moderate communities) the dapps that revolve around the platform make quite 3speak, dtube, splinterlands, esteemapp, steempress, steempeak, among others. The platform is giving many changes, since they added steem-engine, there are many business models (you can create your token, and platform tokenized in steem blockchain) and people would publish there in the theme you want, have really advanced.

Actually a good list.There will be free time I will study everything thoroughly but in the meantime I can say that I like the sapien platform.I've been following her for a long time.

In this way, your popularity increases. I think they need to build a better system to highlight valuable work.

Yes and no, for example I am a curator in curangel a project that is responsible for assessing content, and if you look at my blog, is absurdly low, that is to say that such a statement is not so true at all, but the problem is the following there are other curators, who form a circlejerk and that limits the possibilities to other users, I have seen and I know many groups like that, so the trending is more the same group that slaps itself. But there are other options within the steem chain like dtube. or 3speak which helps the content creators a lot the votes are really good.

Personally I think the main problem is that most of the steem is in dormant accounts, and that it could benefit more transparent healing projects, the low price of steem also makes such actions more difficult it requires a staggering amount of steem to make a publication worth $1, that's why there are other alternatives.

Sometimes, I look for where to publish my articles, but it seems i have exhausted all the available slots. Agree with your post. The system in steemit as a social media platform that reward user to create a quality content is somehow rigged. The people there are creating group to upvote each other doesn't matter whether the content is that garbage quality they'll just trying to up the rewards for members in that group. That's also why I stopped using that platform since long ago. People with no connection don't stand a chance there.

Before there was a system of bidbots that is to say to pay and your publication was tendency in function to the amount that you paid this gave great amounts but they drowned to the creators of content that did not pay to be tendency and with time some users became famous this way.

Currently, there are many things to change on the platform, now there is flag is downward vote to those who use this service, the accounts that promoted these services went to manual healers, and are gradually healing the attitudes of voting circles that were, there are many things to work, and give the recognition to content creators, I invite you to use https://3speak.online/  (can be creator of video content), https://d.tube/ (same here), vimm.tv (streaming) , you would have a different experience there, it would be totally different, and it is the same platform of steem, that is with your steemit account.

Kudos to OP. This can help many that are new in the crypto industry. I personally appreciated his/her effort in making the list. It is also worth checking out all of them though I only managed to check about ten of them at this moment. Knowledge is power and this is a great help to fight against ignorance so, we can prevent other unwanted or unfortunate events in the future.
