I have a skill of keeping my nerves down without getting greedy. I am able to hold my bitcoins and few other altcoins even at the peak times of late 2017 and altcoin's peak time of early 2018. I was a trader before entering into crypto space and after analyzing the potential of bitcoins, I have turned as a investor and I just keep my bitcoins earned since 2013.

I must agree there could be lots of traders in crypto space must have been successful due to their skill set whereas I am happy with my holding as an investor. Compared to gamblers, I believe both traders and investors must be doing better job in this crypto space.

No special skill is needed for anyone to become rich in crypto space. Just keep investing into few highly reputed coins and keep them for years to find yourself as millionaire in 5 to 10 years. To save/keep all your cryptos intact, you must have another income stream for living. For example, participate in signature campaign and save all your rewards, that's all. Your earning may be from $30 to $60 per week but after 4/5 years it may look like $3000 to $6000 per week. Yes, 100x growth is likely to happen within next 5 years.

I made my first big buck in Feb 2017, at that time bitcoin was still very cheap and i invested just 500$, i was able to triple that in just few months and i never thought that a better bigger bullrun is around the corner, i did blame myself for removing the profit too quickly and at the same time no one saw it coming, glad i was still able to make something out of it though, its only of the reason i still stick around with crypto today as a big altcoin investor, even after bear market shrinked the hell out of every altcoins i am still holding tight

We can't really tell which one has more success though, just consider it 50/50.

Been trading here, but I still consider myself a newbie, lost a lot of money early in my journey in early 2017 but towards the end of, made significant amount as well. But I'm not telling numbers though,  . And I'm sure no traders or investors are going to be comfortable sharing their success/loss in this crypto sphere.

Despite the fact that those who earned by holding Bitcoin has become millionaires instantly, but for now I can say that those who are doing day trade or has become experts in trading are the ones earning a lot.

Day trading is really a good thing, good chance to earn money instantly but still it takes a lot of effort,failure and investment, before we become experts, and once we become expert we can do money everyday.

I think my choice will fall to investors due to a sure profits because the crypto market is growing in 5 years interval. So, if the investors are invested 5 years ago they must be a rich person right now due to growth of cryptocurrency price is so crazy. While the traders are aiming for quick profits and sometimes cannot predict a huge bull run and sometimes also got trapped in a price crashed. Except he's a really good trader or a whale sho can control market price. I'm sure they are same success as the investors if the capital is high and can control the market.

In my opinion early investors had more success in the market compared to later entries because those who has invested before mid 2017 have enjoyed a great share of profit where those who have at the end of 2017 and the year 2018 are doomed as they are yet to reach the break even mark for their investment. Traders as usual it depends on their skills which makes them successful or not but I feel early investors gained more than traders.

I have really learnt a lot from your advice. You nailed it by advising us to have extra stream of income aside crypto. I've been doing that and it is really helping me. I'm not tempted to do panic selling because I've no intentions of selling any time soon since I've extra sources of income

The first time i entered into crypto invest i made few wrong choices like trying out trading without actually learning the strategy first, i even blindly went into crypto mining instead of investing the money on bitcoin, till date i have no good news to share about crypto but i do make few hundred bucks from airdrops

I'll answer the first question, the entity that benefited the most in cryptocurrenciy space are the investors. Though we can consider traders as investors as well, as they accumulate more volume of crypto. Investors are those who risk their assets, in return, bigger risk results into bigger income.

For the second questions, I am in e-commerece where I sell prepaid loads for cryptocurrency such as bitcoin and ethereum. Its all fully long distance that it doesn't require that much time for each transactions.

I don't expect anyone will be able to give a definitive answer to that. Both investors and traders make a profit in their own way, and can't really be compared in the same way two traders or two investors could be compared to one another. Sure, an investor can make a few thousand $ by holding a coin for a year. However, a capable trader will make the same amount, only in portions, instead of hodling.

it mainly depends on the person and how much experience they have in riding the market's ups and downs and when it comes to altcoins the knowledge of how to deal with manipulation pump and dumps.
but an altcoin trader has a huge advantage over an altcoin investors because an investor entails a long term holding of that altcoin and since altcoins have always performed poorly in long term they will always be in a loss while a trader who is only getting involved with altcoins for a short period of time has a much higher chance of making profit and getting out before it is too late.

I prefer day trading too as sometimes I was able to earn more than my salary. The way to earn in day trading is not to be greedy, to take chance of that alt increase and considers the news why those alt increases or decline in price. It may take our time but it's good a try especially if were able to trade. If prefer to invest only then make sure that alt have a working product or better hodl bitcoin if fine with waiting for another pump.

traders can be investors and investors can also become traders, so in my opinion they have the same benefits and risks, so to say which is more successful is not there, I have never experienced a large profit in the crypto market, but if asked for losses big, I've lost around thousands of dollars because of necessity, in fact we will never lose being a trader it's just a necessity that forces us to sell losses, the point is don't we ever enter the crypto market without experience and moreover we are just an unemployed person who doesn't have a permanent job

In the early time, Investors were more successful. because they were holding their cryptocurrency while traders were making a lot of trades and getting a small profit from the uptrend while investors were multiplying their investment. But right now they are changing their position, Traders are more successful because they have a chance to get profit while investors are likely to lose their investment because of heavy market.

I made a profit from my investment right now, not much but it is steady. I do not do the trade that much right now because I prefer to hold it for my future. The market is very unpredictable and it is very likely for me to lose my capital instead of gaining something from this market.
