It is hard to distinguish because, although, there are few projects out there which have done really when in terms of price going up, the majority of other coins have dipped too badly with seemingly no hope of recovery. Some traders still make profits but it cannot be as much as the profits from those few projects whose price went up over the months

Talking about who makes more profit between traders and investors can be quite difficult. This is because, both are operating from different angles, traders might be day trader or otherwise in this case the profit varies. Investors on the other hand can get involved with a scam project and ends up losing, his target will now be to get another project from which he can recover his lost money. So you can see, there are several factors which affects them. Also,there are people who are both investors and traders. Lastly I think both makes profit but in their own way, all that matters is dedication.

My answer is smart people. Smart traders will make money but smart investors will also make money. I don't know if there's more smart investors or smart traders. Nobody knows that. A dumb investor and a dumb trader will both lose money that's for sure.

Trading is more difficult so if you're just starting here I'd recommend to invest in and hold. Don't hold forever though. If it dumps a lot sell it and save yourself some money. Don't lose everything in a scam coin or something. You have to be smart about it.

If both are professional, it will depends on what kind of investor is it. Because both trader and investor have own way to get profit. If must pick, i think will pick on trader because Investor itself still depends on what kind of investment that investor do. If ICO, maybe it will be very hard to be investor because we can see itself not much project that success, and it is better to make investment like buy stake in a corporate to make it safe. And trader if we can be profesional, that skills we can used to any condition of market so no worry what time, trader will keep do their strategies to make profit.

Everyone of them can become successful even in different ways, they are just like manager of different companies, both can have the opportunity to earn, but it depends on them how are they going to manage their fund, how much they value their money, how they are maximizing and using their time wisely, although they may working in different firm still up to their hand how they will chase their goal.

Right, compared 2 good thing like this with it's own benefit will really help other people which is good for them. I mean, i think perfect ways to make profit is do something that we're really good at it. And since both trading and invest money is something that people can learn, start to learn it early will be better to do.

it's the same type of invest, traders for short term. and holders (which is investors) for long term.
it depends on which time you get money in. kind of hard to say. but in my point of view, holders are likely to get more profit than others

I think Traders no hate about Investors. But I just think when the trader is highly skilled and diligent towards its own work. He may surpass any kind of profit out there except those unimaginable because it takes for about a life time to gain. Well anyway, both are guaranteed to be successful considering the idea that the trader and investors are knowledgeable. It is just that the measurement of the profit between the two is totally different, and I'll go with trader because of time range of profit return.

it seems that in this case, it is very difficult to decide. even Bill Gates is a trader and businessman. but I think people like that come from investors. because of this, I have the idea that traders and investors have the same quality depending on who uses it. some of the richest people in the world come from traders and some from investors.

You cannot really answer this accurately unless you will do a survey of all the traders and investors in the world.

I will just answer it base on what I know and what I feel. Traders (professional) for me are more successful than the investors since investors are just holding a coin and will sell it at their target price while traders are flipping their funds everyday to have more profit. I'm saying that "Professional" Traders are more successful than those investors who are just holding their coins.

To me, every trader is an investor and every investor is also a trader. We all buy, keep and sell with the aim of earning beyond what we invested. Talking about the amount of losses and profits made so far, I believe everyone has a different experience and if we're still all here, it means the loss is yet to be unbearable for us to still keep edging on.

Both earning options are good in their way.  It all depends on the quality and experience of the action.
 Traders should at least not bargain in the red and have iron nerves and cold calculation.  Do not panic and make informed decisions.

There are a lot of kind in investment, maybe like what you said for gold and property and maybe bitcoin are really fit for investor. If we see from ICO side, yes a lot of investor maybe lose a lot of money in it and people maybe will prefer to pick trading. But if we can do both, trading and make an investment in a right thing, it can be better.
