I just want to ask and share some update about this lockup program of Kucoin Exchange. I know this post will caught your attention coz it's all about annualized return.

They announced that Lockup users of the first round can get an extra 20% annualized return besides the base return rate of 30%, up to 50% annualized return in total.

You can't guarantee if the price of kucoin by the time it was unlock and the time you deposit will be the same. If the price of kucoin dump 100% after the lock up period then the 20% to 50% interest is not sufficient to cover the loss unless kucoin is a stable coin then it will be fine.

Exactly. I don't really like the idea of locking volatile cryptocurrencies or tokens long-term unless maybe it's a solid project.
 Such mouth watering annual return is probably not a guaranteed or no? Stuff like this is better on solid stablecoins or even Bitcoin.
People should probably understand the exchange Terms & conditions before locking up their funds.

I don't understand the lock-up period if it says 'annualized return' if the period is within 30 days.
