Do not depend on gambling, you have a life outside the game, take gambling as one of your enjoyment in life, not your life, there is no equivalent money that can stop a gambler I am saying this again. A person who needed to stop gamble is those who are addicted, they needed to be rehabilitated.

IMO, you need to know yourself first. Why do you play this game, why do you gamble?

If you do it just for fun, then no matter how much you win, you will play it again and again.
Because money is not your priority.

Some of you guys are forgetting how life becomes so much more expensive the years go by and how you have to keep paying taxes as well as increasing your standard of living a bit.

Nobody who lives in a 1 bedroom apartment loft that is feeding on ramen for a week straight will suddenly keep doing that if they won 20 million dollars somewhere, sure they might be more inclined to life frugally because they know what they could go back to if they end up losing money but at the same time they will increase their standard of living to a whole new level as well.

I think what you are saying contradicts the reality. Yes, in theory, they should behave like you said, but they actually never do. There are tons of stories about poor people winning millions and losing all of it within couple of years, because of their stupidity, and then going back to their poor lives. If you win big, spend it on your education, first of all, and maybe then you will not lose the rest of your money so fast, and you will better enjoy your winning being an educated person, that's for sure.

You allocate big amount of your monthly income and for me it is not good idea. It is the 50% of your cash flow and it is risky if you will allocate in gambling all the time. I have earned and passive income of $2000 per month and I do not allocate more than 20% of it in gambling. I already know the risks and profit is not matyer for me. I only seek enjoyment and that is why I only investing 5-10% of my monthly income.

For a people or a gambler who have a lot at stake in real life: responsibilities and issues, I think they will base on the circumstances they have in the real world their decision in gambling weather to continue or not. If a gambler would become contented in life, fulfilled their necessities and wants, I think it is more likely for them to chose settling and just go on in life because, they do not have anymore reasons to continue gambling and accumulate earning from it. So, I think, being contented in life is the key for someone to stop gambling.

If I would win 1 Bitcoin from gambling, I think I would stop and just invest in solid companies in real life, start a business and continue with my life.
