I like the fact that he openly embraces the technology & is generally curious to learn more about it. This is the true entrepreneur mindset.

I think the government can learn a lot from his behaviour lol

It's interesting to see Jack still in track with bitcoin developments. However, I feel like with him being the CEO of a public company, there's only limited things he could do with bitcoin and his biggest venture, Twitter. He tries to push any and all support he has for crypto from a very personal perspective. In fact, his own influence appears limited compared to the platform he's the CEO of. We shouldn't get too excited trying to connect his involvement with crypto with Twitter's scale because that's likely not going to happen. In fact, I think that Jack might be even seeking out different ventures because among all social media that went public (FB, SNAP), Twitter appears to be having the worst performance this year.

you are overthinking it, he is not planning to change the world. he is simply one of many bitcoin lovers who has seen what this magnificent innovation can do and how it has changed the world and now he is trying to spread the word. again like many others are doing. it is just that he is the CEO of a popular company but he isn't using his company to do it though.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

I already know about the founder of Twitter, if I'm not mistaken Jack Dorsey does only have bitcoin and doesn't hold any other altcoins, I see that adoption is huge for crypto currencies, the founder of Twitter, Facebook which will launch its own crypto currency, maybe later Google, we see when social media twitter and facebook are crowded you might see Google launching Google+ but unfortunately it is closed, if later bitcoin and crypto currency continue to be adopted by the founders of social media of course Google will follow suit

That would be great, yeah, he's not in favor with altcoins as he have seen a lot of spams lurking around twitted so he banned crypto related spams before and now he has been very interested, maybe he also wanted to have his own altcoins, let's see what the meeting is for, for sure they will share it very soon. He might be interested in having its own coin as he have seen despite the bear market there are still a lot of tokens coming around.
not sure if he wants to follow in the footsteps of Mark Zuckerberg making his own crypto currency, he said via twitter he only has bitcoin not interested in storing the others, i don't think he will make altcoin himself, the thing that might be is to make bitcoin as a payment tool for advertising on twitter I think it's fair enough

He might be waiting for the regulatory hurdle facebook is facing right now to come up with his new coins and if the regulatory authority approves libra then we can expect all the tech companies coming up with their version of coins, so it will be interesting how they will proceed with the things. I wonder what he was doing in Nigeria rather than going for a bitcoin meet up there must be something in the bags.

He said it before that he holds bitcoin and it's the only crypto that he holds.

Jack Dorsey says the ‘only’ cryptocurrency he owns is bitcoin

And his other company, Square also into bitcoin. Those who bought there are now in profit.

Bitcoin Buyers for Square's Cash app Doubled in Q3 2019

He's really into bitcoin and doing the best that he can, yes adoption is imminent and he's contributing on it.

Oh really, that's great to hear. At least we have two major CEOs of social media companies all supporting the invention of cryptocurrencies and its adoption. Zuckerberg on the other hand wants to steer the wheels of cryptocurrencies but got blocked by SEC. Let's hope and see if Jack of Twitter can help in the adoption of cryptocurrencies especially bitcoin without being too greedy to create his own.
Libra isn't blocked but they are being questioned by their own gov't so unless proven to be a threat on their own gov't, they will be blocked. Jack is doing all the help that he can together with his companies.

And that's what we have to recognize and appreciate on him.

Even with all the negative feedback that the country is getting because of their tendency to scam in the Cryptocurrency space, but these days the country has been gathering a lot of momentum in the Cryptocurrency space, first Binance listed their currency in their exchange and now the twitter CEO is holding a meet-up there, although when I research about the country, it seems that their leaders are oblivious of the existence of Blockchian technology and what it entails but the Cryptocurrency Enthusiasts seem to make up for it.

This is another evidence of Cryptocurrency going mainstream, first it was Mark Zuckerberg who used to fight against Cryptocurrencies but has embraced it to the extent that he even wants to create his own ,and now it's the twitter CEO and the Chinese showing massive love to Cryptocurrencies, the future looks bright, buy and hodl some Bitcoin before the boom.

Like Facebook, the ban of crypto adds on 2018 was never happened but they just provide some strict policies to ensure that Twitter will not be used on promoting scam projects that related to Crypto. For this current development, which it shows that CEO is into Crypto activities then it might be understood that they are following the path of Facebook too in which they created Libra project because of the popularity of their company.

Good activities if have CEO twitter want to joined with crypto investing project, they are looking how to make bitcoin grow up at future with higher, many social media want to promote bitcoin as best investment way for investing and keep get positive respond from many people, with CEO twitter I think bitcoin become profitable at the future.

As per him, the CEO of twitter is holding some Bitcoins but he's not holding any altcoins, this simple way that influential people are doing helps to build trust from most people, and gain more confidence to crypto enthusiasts like us as it means either local or influential people like CEO's are now adopting and being more interested in blockchain and crypto related works, maybe they are cooking for some coins that they will launch soon, let's see.

Just so you know, The Twitter ban of crypto ads were primarily focused on ICOs advertising their token sales. It had nothing to do with Bitcoin or Crypto in general. I don't think Twitter would be creating its own cryptocurrency, wouldn't make much sense. What I think Twitter would do is to get Twitter integrated with payment methods like Bitcoin.  Users can transfer or even tip BTC to anyone. That seems like a more realistic functionality. I'm eager to see how things play out. One thing is sure though. Great things are coming!

yes it might make much more sense, when the authority approves LIBRA it could be the founder of twiter or other sites will also follow to make their own crypto currency, but it seems that no one knows what they are talking about there because there is no video, maybe the founder of twitter wants to see the development of bitcoin adoption in nigeria

Yes, That's a known fact. Bitcoin and Blockchain might be just what our economy needs. The current traditional monetary system isn't living up to desired results. I do believe that Bitcoin would help our finance to a great extent. Recently, a team of crypto enthusiasts wrote an open letter to some leaders in Nigeria about solving one of the country's biggest problems (poverty). More on this available here: https://cryptotvplus.com/a-nigerian-project-with-the-intention-to-eradicate-poverty-has-written-an-open-letter-to-the-efcc-says-its-open-for-questioning/

I actually did not know that Twitter CEO is holding Bitcoin and if it is true then indeed its a great news for crypto enthusiastic. Twitter is a popular social media platform. Twitter CEO holding Bitcoin meeting in Nigeria is a positive news for the entire crypto community. I believe Twitter may come up with its own coin once there is some clarification on regulation of cryptocurrencies. Lets wait patiently and  hope for the good time for cryptocurrencies.

Wow, Africa is really taking a very new dimension in the cryptocurrency usage too and I am quite surprise that bitcoin has gone so wide to the extent of being used in Nigeria too, which is the sign that bitcoin is gradually tending towards becoming the global currency of the world that we have all believed it will be one day without even getting any enforcement from the government or any sort of implementation.

Twitter would really be a very useful place to actually promote bitcoin if they can all come together to create awareness for it and this could really spark a bull run for bitcoin when they start twitter campaign. I wish that we could get a gist of what was being discussed in the meeting to see if it is typically for bitcoin or against bitcoin.

yes that is true , there is a lot of top tech CEO who support/endorse bitcoin openly and a lot more secretly support bitcoin.

it doesn't change anything unless if they launch their own blockchain project. we knew that jack ma alibaba group CEO , Ginni Rometty CEO of IBM, Elon Musk CEO of Tesla and many more has spoken publicly about how they more to supporting the blockchain technology include bitcoin in it. just because all of them held a bitcoin meetup , it would make a significant impact.

no it won't as i said, it could be just a small discussion that produce nothing but an ordinary conversation. it could be a huge difference if twitter itself creating their own tokens for its twitter users  Cheesy

Such types of meeting by influentia personalities promote the adoption of cryptocurrencies around the globe although it was just normal meetup not any official meeting to announce something. But twitter will adopt blockchain technology to compete with other social media modes like facebook to gain more customers and increase profit base.So we hope most people are aware about these coins like bitcoin and adopt them in wider way.

A good news indeed, but let just hope this is may start for more adoptions about crypto. Actually, I’m not aware of this news until such this time that Ceo of Twitter had this kind of activity meeting up with Nigerian. For sure other people would be kinda interested to get to know more about bitcoin.
