I thought mutual/pool betting is popular than this, with lots of events to bet on. I am surprised there are few things to bet on. Could this be why gambling owners don't consider it? I guess gamblers don't like it or find it profitable.

Talking about popularity I think it's not going to be fair at all when you are going to justify the industry by the outcome of this very very small community. I can even give you the usernames who are regular in this cricketing section. And for this reason we do not see many people to join the pools and the mutual bets.

I will be coming up with some football market and perhaps we will see some good response then.

At the rate at which they are scoring, I am expecting a 400+ target just like you. If New Zealand manages to score well, this one could end in a draw and Akhjob(I think) could win this pool.

Was busy last 2 days irl and because of the bitcointalk art contest. Just watched the highlights of the test match. And I am happy to see how Newzealand bowled and batted. Since 3 days have already been over and NZ still batting with 4 wickets in hand, I am expecting to win the pool alone Unless ENG somehow fails to play for 90+ overs.

@Royse, looks like the Multibet didn't attract much interest, maybe not everyone discussing in the Cricket discussions is an active gambler (including me). Maybe you'll have to open up for the Football lovers

With the way the match is going the match is likely going to be a draw and i went with New Zealand to win the match but glad that England is not winning either as i am supporting New Zealand to win the series  .

Yeah bro, it's almost 5x Haven't won a 5x ever in a bet, my max win was 3x something. But, I trust England to bat for a day and a half and ensure that this match ends in a draw   BTW, it's been a productive week for me. I started the week with 77 merits, earned 23 merits in 3 days and became a Full Member on my Birthday and my yesterday's average posts in the art contest fetched 50+ merits. I also closed a good deal IRL  So I think, I am in a streak of luck and going to make the most out of it  

@Little Mouse & @Sashi, NZ has been performing well in the series, it's just bad luck that they lost the T20 series. I was also execting NZ to win the series considering their good form and the home advantage, but I also didn't underestimate ENG that's why I opted for a draw. Right now I have the highest chance, but who knows, as JSRAW pointed out everything is possible

I was considering to submit something but decided not to because lack of free time. you might already know that 3d sculpting takes huge amount of time and after 10-12 hours of daily slavery, its tough task.

I feel like you should have given it a shot since many members who designed Bitcoin related sculptures received tons of merit and might receive money too. Also, the art contest itself was a ton of fun(Me and my sis submitted art pieces too).

Got to observe a lot of creative stuff in that thread. Felt good to see so many members of this community pitch in and I am expecting more such contests in the future since this was clearly a huge success.

Can you post the link of the art you submitted? I have seen one game developed by a user and also seen a robot theme art in the content. There are some outstanding works there which deserves recognition.
Back to topic, the chances for you to win the pool is very very high and I hope you make it. Joining these pools are really fun and winning is just bonus I think.

I suggest to join the telegram channel and the link is in the op. I basically updating their once I make a topic. The advantage is that you wil get insteant notification. So, chances to miss is less.

Honestly, I did not expect New Zealand to bounce back so spectacularly on the backs of Watling and Santner. Who would have expected a result like this? New Zealand are in the drivers seat now and I hope they continue the onslaught.

If they manage to remove Stokes, Denly and Buttler quickly, it is game over for England in the 1st test in my opinion.

Hard luck man, England played really shitty cricket on their second inning. they were literally playing like 90s, biggest disappointment was Joe Root. i especially woke up early as 03:00 Am just to watch his inning and it was not pleasant experience, all credit to kiwis bowlers here.

After posting that, I noticed there are lots of other pool bettings (mutual betting?) threads on gambling discussion section. I didn't take notice of them in the past probably because I did not really know much about pool betting.
Looks like your thread is more busy now. Hopefully, that will translate to more bettors.
