Is there anyone here in the forum who is currently working in the gambling industry or running a blockchain casino? What are your experiences and how do you see gambling industry as a workplace today and in the future?

If you are really interested in having answers for your question I think the best way to deal with this is approach them personally via pm. Mostly the ones who have created the ANN threads for their crypto gambling sites are directly affiliated to the gambling casino they are working in and I think sending them a pm directly will help you find answers especially if you tell them it's part of the article you are writing. Of course it would help if you give them question guidelines for what you are really asking so that you will get direct answers where you won't go back and forth with them sending pms.

Are you planning to work in one of those reputable gambling sites or inside in a casino international? I agree that the best way to answer your question is to get an appointment with one of the members of that casino or pm them here if you're planning to ask an online casino owner. I don't know what would be the required information if you are interested to work with them. But just give it a try to pm or confront one of them.

Gambling industry is pretty vast and really a profitable one thats why we do see new casinos everynow and then.Checked out the site
and yes its a review site and also why not consider on including popular/reputable gambling casino/sites on this forum included into your own review?

I dont think that those guys need to reveal who they are, a simple "Yes I am and that is my experience ..." is enough, they dont even have to bring the name of the company they are working for, to the table.

I am not working in the gambling industry but a very good friend of mine does as a back end developer. We often talk about his job and the growth of the company so I can definitly confirm what you are saying. Online casinos are currently exploding both in terms of online users and amount wagered and there is no end in sight.
On the other hand retail casinos seem to suffer from this development, large casinos here in my country struggle, some smaller ones had to close their business recently.

Yeah no need to reveal anything, just to share experiences and views how this industry is shaping up.

Brind and mortar casinos surely feel it, when online gaming is getting bigger. I think this is healthy though as everything is moving to internet, not only gambling. Think it will lead the few biggest ones alive and well in the retail casino sector.

You wake up at the crack of dawn before even sunlight is a thing, you are basically waking up at a late night hour instead of early morning hour (usually around 04:45 or 05:00 but depending on shit it could become 06:00 so that's better) then you work no matter how sick you are, I had high fever one day and went to ER before work and get some shots done and had vial plucked to me for vitamins and medicine etc and went to work anyway afterwards to work on 13 hour shift.

You get yelled by your boss for even standing still, not even a joke, you have to be in constant movement and constantly smiling so forth so if you are just standing there with your resting face (not even upset or sad face, just your regular face, not like we all smile on default) you get yelled at. Glad I am not in that world anymore.

Having to work even when you are sick is pretty common, even in rich western countries in the EU. Most of the time those are people working in poorly paid jobs which they can't afford to lose. Taking a day off because you are sick leads to the fact that someone else has to do your job. If it is a job which doesnt require any special skills it is very likely that you get fired immediatly. It is like modern slavery

Jesus, that sounds like a nightmare workplace, why do you tolerate it? You do realize that part of your job should be becoming friendly with the higher ups.

Once you're on good terms with your boss, and their boss, you'll find they are much more lenient towards you.

My experience was nowhere as bad as yours, on the contrary, now after something like  10 years since i quit i remember it as fun part of my life

My shifts were usually  12 hours long(7am-7pm day shift or 7 pm-7 am night shift), but we had  schedule where you would work 2 days, and then next 2 would be free. And we would often exchange shifts so we could combine more free days when needed. So for me that was one of the better sides of the work, as i was often able to take small trips.
I don't know where you worked, but here in Europe workers are decently protected. While working for one casino i had injury (happened outside work) that forced me to take sick leave for almost 4 weeks, and i got full salary during that period, as company appreciated good workers. Of course, i worked sick sometimes, but never when I am seriously ill. That is common thing i think at most workplaces, you won't take sick leave if you have cold.
Another perk was working with a bunch of hot girls, male/female ratio was awesome for a single guy like me

There were some bad sides, like watching people loosing  everything they have, while loan sharks standing next to them and "giving" them more money, getting them into more trouble, meeting bunch of shady characters, and in one "unpleasant" situation i even had to go to court to testify. It is stressful too, as depending on the position you are dealing with a lot of money.

Money wise i was making an average salary for my country, but when you add tips it was quite decent for 14-16 working days per month. Sure, you work on weekends, holidays etc, every day was the same for me. So this job is not the best when you have wife/husband, kids etc.

I worked in that business for 6 years and I think it can be interesting and exciting work experience when you are younger( i was 20 when started) and even when was tougher I looked at it as a professional challenge. Later on i kinda got tired of all that, and wanted more relaxed and slower work atmosphere.

Every day, many people are trying to try gambling games. And that makes many people are trying to sign as an employee because they can get a good payment. I think that will happen too in the online gambling games because we can see that traditional gambling game tries to transform into a digital platform and they invite their regular members to try the service. The online gambling games will become more popular, and especially cryptocurrency can be used as the payment method, so a gambler doesn't need to fiat to gamble.

I don't have any experience to work as an employee in the gambling business industry. I only a person that is trying to feel about gambling games, and I only play gambling in my free time.

Here in crypto, I think what we are seeing here is a growing crypto gambling industry as this made the online gambling easy, and as it grows, its expected to increase the employment rate and hopefully big gambling companies will also start to adopt or start accepting crypto on their casinos.

That's gonna be huge, more casinos means more job but we need a very supportive government for this.
Casino business is not a usual type of business, if you start this business in a country where gambling has a conflict with religion, casinos business might not succeed in its operation and I also think that one big reason why the gambling crypto industry has grown this fast is because majority of the casino are not licensed and that makes them so profitable as they are not entitled to pay taxes.

technological developments are indeed going very rapidly, so online gambling must adopt Crypto as an alternative deposit. in my own country it seems like there is no online gambling that has adopted crypto. hope that in the coming years in my country there will also be gambling that accepts Crypto deposits.

This is what we hear as well. Most of the people say they enjoy their work, but I suppose as in every industry there are companies that are not treatin their workers properly, as we heard from previous comments.
