We don't know if people will use the Libra coin or not because this coin hasn't been released yet and still cannot be accessed by investors, the coin is still in the process of forming both from the system sige or other aspects, so we can't decide if the coin will be used  or not

It's really hard to tell at this moment as there is genuine concern on how people will believe something which is created by Facebook. Their reputation is already lowered with all the scandals about privacy and the US government will not let it take the money to different countries without accountability.

This project is very popular although still not launched yet but many people has just made speculations about Libra future and with this excitement i fear when this project launched then the results will beyond everyone's expectations which mean possible will be dissapointing many people however i maybe can used Libra or could be not using it because i will see how successful the project is and can Libra influence crypto market or not

Personally, at this time,if i have a decent stash of libra, i won't use it yet. Their efforts have been in fact stopped and it was so easy that is laughable, many do not consider the decentralization of bitcoin as essential but if it was not for it then governments could have shutdown bitcoin whenever they want it, decentralization is what it is protecting bitcoin and it is the main weak point of Facebook, it does not matter that it is one of the most powerful companies around the world, all its power is centralized in a few people and they can be easily intimidated or bribed if needed.

The Libra project in a sense was never going to be profitable for those that invest in it because it was going to be a stable coin and as we know those coins are designed in such a way to be stable and to not move that much compared to the rest of the coins in the market, what Facebook was trying to achieve was to become something closer to a bank and have very specific information about what people were doing with their money, which for a company like Facebook that was extremely valuable information.

Even the guy has lately purchased whatsapp increasing his impact more on people. If he is launching Libra and starts giving people on cheap rates in the beginning especially to the users of facebook, the coin will definitely increase in worth within months because of mass adaptation.

If Libra is tied to a basket of currencies then its worth is fixed and tracked a bit like a stable coin I think.   He cant especially give out free money imo, a discount promotion on revenue Facebook might be involved in perhaps.  I guess Paypal does some limited offers for people but I dont see Libra succeeding for the people in that way, its going to be digital container for a FIAT standard which is not new and you could do it today.    
   The new part of this whole idea will be the interface to the Facebook platform and possibly it enables easier business done.  The main reason Zuckerberg sees opportunity is he will absorb all your spending habits, file it against your name and sell your details to the highest bidder for further advertising and prospective business targeting.   Its really not crypto.
