The main point before you invest with Cryptoi is to choose projects that have a complete working map and real products. and has proven to be the top altcoin on the CMC market. like ETH & BNB they are projects that are worth investing in in the future, they have exchanges and products that work well in the market.
Most shitcoin even most scam project will have a road map and you can't be differentiate which one a scam project and which one a good project. You can find some guideline how to different them through this forum like this one https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5120422.0

Find the knowledge first to avoid scam project, and maybe it will need several times to you to avoid it. Currently, the newbie to crypto currency is really need to overcome this knowledge, espcially if they are an altcoin fans then the first step before they spend money must overcome these knowledges.

To minimize the loss of investing in the form of altcoin, I prefer the top altcoin which has further price developments, the product functions well and is also widely used by other investors such as Ethereum, Binancecoin, Eos and several other top altcoins.
I agree, they should go for atleast top 5 altcoins in the market. They can choose in CMC which its very useful price compared platform. If they have a lot of time, they can research for possible altcoin that can be great in the future.
Nowadays, a lot of platform are almost similar so try to find projects that very unique and can be competitive along other crypto currency platforms. Know what are their advantage and roadmaps and future plans along the process.

Hello

Recently I started looking into new projects as I have some free time and I'm wondering what do you guys look at when you are deciding which altcoin to buy and hold.

Do you know any projects that you believe has a bright future?

I hear a lot of people complaining that they bought coins that were either dead in a few weeks or the project was pointless. I would like to avoid such situations.

Thank you in advance.

What I do is that, I don't really trade on new coins for now, because I have not really have enough experience when it come to trading.  Better still, I monitor the price of the established coins, like top 40 on the coinmarketcap for a while before I decide on which to trade.  Besides, I try to trade minimum of two so I can spread my risk a little bit.

For me, the most important source is the news. Then I analyze the project itself, its relevance, and so on. Next I look at the asset and development of the project in social networks. After these standard measures, I draw some conclusions. Of course, I will not disclose all the cards, but I think that this information will be useful to you.

Although your techniques ate good but personally I buy  any altcoins to invest through their products. I always lay  more emphasis on the product backing any project before proceeding to invest in the project. Though, there are projects that literally developed products and abandoned their projects, so, looking out for the very best of altcoins to invest you should ensure to do a background check on their products backing them. Also, doing more research before invest will be an added advantage for every investor out there.

One thing is for the investor to choose the type of project he or she want to invest in, either in PoS or PoW as we'll know they have their respective advantages. Investment is a choice and should be carefully made when venturing into the world of cryptocurrency because many scam projects are their waiting for investor's to scam them of their belongings.

What I do to invest in any cryptocurrency projects is: thoroughly investigating into the project I choose to invest by looking into their teams, their real world problem solve, their partners and partnership with other global agents. Though, I have been more careful since I joined this industry and have not regretted my actions during investing.

I studied a lot of cryptocurrencies and once I found a cryptocurrency PRIZM. Which has no analogues, because it does not need expensive equipment for mining. You can just get it when you buy it and keep it in your wallet.
I use PRIZM for only 4 months, but even for this period I mine PRIZM cryptocurrency in my wallet, I am very pleased with passive income, because it brings me up to 9.9% per month, but it can be more if you connect a node.
Not a single coin with POS-mining technology brings such profitability as PZM Smiley
Therefore, whoever is really looking for safe, but profitable types of investments, I would recommend that everyone look at this coin. It has an attractive price, because it is not very well known yet, but as we know everything can change very quickly.

I still wait when bitcoin break to higher price before investing and buying some altcoin, but my goal only with altcoin look potential at the future like ethereum, litecoin and especially for binance coin or BNB, I think last named best option because several days later will burn their supply allocation on the market.

Firstly I always keep on eye in new projects. For that I always follow coinmarketcap's recently added section. If I think some project is good then I go deeper. I checked their website, and whitepaper, join their community and if I think that they are okay to invest then I go for it. I don't listen toothers I invest in those projects that I prefer. I follow some youtubers and Twitter account to know which are the hype project but I don't go with that without my research. So whatever you do do your own research before investment.

you heard people bought dead coins.... it is a gamble. don't risk it if you can't trade a long term. such trades are long term trade where the buyer hopes for fortunes. i choose the op coins in the coinmarketcap. i am only confortable that they can only decrease in price but will never die in the market just like the new tokens listed on CMC. becareful with the new coins/tokens that got listed on cmc . they could be scams.

Known coins for long term. Bitcoin rally will give a high chance to each top projects to rise back, you just need to look for those useful coins where support already there and strongly following the projects developments. It's very important before you invest your money you do have good insight to whatever the teams are projecting the coin and how they are proceeding even in this crisis.

The first thing I look for is hype. I ask what hype does the project have? Are there whlaes in this project? Are people really interested in the utility being created by this project? Are the team real or fake? I try to answer these questions because interest in a project is everything without interest there's no liquidity on exchange.

investing in crypto or projects has its own risks, and anyone doesn't want to take risks with random investments. so I think the only safe investment you need to buy is bitcoin or old coins that are already well established in markets such as Eth, eos, bnb or other stable coins.

As it is even coinmarketcap won't be able to exactly state the right coins to buy as some persons still complain of coinmarketcap fake volume so I think best one has to do is to buy at dip and watch projects for news and updates to ensure project team are up and doing.

If you want to join IEO to invest, you can choose IEO lauchpad Binance. Meanwhile, if you want to invest in Coin, you can choose the top ranked Altcoin in Coinmarketcap.  You can choose EOS, BNB or ETH. BNB in the quarter this year has great news Namely the Binance team burned BNB by 3 million BNB of course the opportunity is big enough prices will rise significantly

Now a days so many new projects are launching everyday. If you are interested to invest in new project 1st you should research on it like you should take a look thoroughly on it's road-map, whitepaper, it's team and all social media networks. You have to study about that project then you can invest if you feel it is worth.

First thinking for it( Social media activity, telegram support, developing promising action, and target of their exchange IEO) after others road-map whitepaper and ANN announced thread most important for a real project. At least invest at this time more risk for a new project so i can't never face loss my amount.

what is the general potential to choose EOS? I believe that this project will not be developed. they have nothing attractive for users and I have not seen any development over the past 2 years. so investing in top coins without doing an analysis is a bad strategy

Is there a reason why you must wait for the bitcoin to touch the high price before you can decide to invest in bitcoin? that doesn't make sense for me consider the more higher you will take it as your enter point and then you get the more risk caused by it can be dumped into the low level anytime by the whales.

for me, I only see the quality of the team, white paper, and partnership. but for now, I'm more dominant to focus on ethereum if it's an altcoin. Well, for now, I don't want to take any risk, even though the team and the concept are of good quality.

Re: How do you choose which altcoin will you buy?

I always research about coins I want and what are the best features. I also look into unique features that any coin doesn't have.
You must try ADN Coin and ABBC Coin. Always giving the users unique features.
