There should be no need now. The rank now shows the regulars ranks for all profiles on the file I publish along with the Dashboard update. If, on the other hand,we still want to see on that file the original rank that is really shown on the profile (I.e. copper member, staff, etc.), I can add a column with this info later on.

No, no need to add a column just for this, the real ranks are important the sub ranks are just for information and as you said you can always check them in the user's profile page.

I added them anyhow to the end of the file (last two columns called "Copper" and "Original Rank"). No worries; having made the adjustments, and it only takes me an additional minute or two extra per week. Piece of cake.

New round just have started. No new legendarily yet, but not everyone posted since the new round started.

I went through a bunch of candidates briefly, and the only one I made this cycle is Goran_, who’s made it to Legendary from Full Member (when the Merit System was introduced). He's active on the Russian local board.

Edit: Ok, he's not self-made, which is the scope here really (there are x2 more non self-made on their way).

It would be useful to add "Legendary not earlier than:" column.
In that columnyou would find  the next activity cycle for member with activity>775 or minimum date with activity>775 for the others.
In my case that date would be 29Jul2020.

I think I'll follow every rank up to Legendary no matter the initail rank. I not sure if I'll keep this thread or just lock it and make a new one following all Legednary rankups from scratch.

Initially I never took too much notice of bitcointalk. Owlcatz helped me in the very beginning understanding some of the dynamics of the forum.
This led to some exciting scambusting with a huge amount of help by Cryptodevil.

Eddie13 made a comment a few years ago now that got me to take an interest in the history of Bitcointalk.

taikuri13 has helped me quite a bit with some of the historical threads.

Despite the rank up I don't quite feel that I am in the same category of OG legendarily like Suchmoon,  hilariousandco, BitcoinFX and qwk.

It is an honor to be able to chat with some of the people on here (many who I haven't mentioned and including some whose opinions I don't necessarily agree with).

Unfortunately I will not be posting much for some time. Despite the country being in full lockdown - the busineses I am involved with are classed as an essential service so will be focusing on a combined effort in trying to beat this pandemic.

You are basically a Legend outside of the forum as well. Fighting the pandemic, risking your healt and life for helping the others one way or another can only show what person you are.

I’d prefer the option that takes into account all starting points in terms of Rank (there is still space for the "PropableInitialRank" which is the starting rank when the Merit System kicked-in). That would drive the list to 106 non-banned candidates (or candidates-to-be): Hero Members with >=1K Merits and >= 500 Activity (this latter could be as is or higher).

This thread has done his job and it's going in to the history. The new Observer thread is in the Reputation board and it's covering all the users, no matter of the registration date nor the airdropped merit.
