No, I won't be buying any of this token.  Despite what that press release says, there's no reason for it to exist and if its value as an investment depends on the continuing popularity of a boxer, you pretty much know it isn't going to hold any value in the long term.

There are way too many coins and tokens on the market, all of them being hyped extensively in the beginning, and the vast majority of them end up being worthless.  This PAC token won't be any different, you'll see.

I’m a fan Manny but I will not buy this token, it sounds only like a vanity token to me and thats all. I’m just not fond of investing in crypto labelled by famous celebrities etc. There are a lot of good tokens aside from this one so I’ll skip it.

Just like the Dogecoin, I'll just trade it (buy low, sell high) if the trading volume is real and high enough, but I wouldn't consider this token for a long term hold because it's just riding on hype.

I agree with Pearls when he says longevity will be the real hurdle, whats a boxers career last, maybe 20 years? and how many could MANNY have left, MAYBE 10?
What this might do tho is just make cryptocurrency more popularized, mass adoption helps all of us already in the scene imo

I cannot find a single real-life problem that this token is trying to address. For cryptocurrency to be accepted properly and be adopted by the bigger population, it should be offering a product that solves a certain problem in the world, an innovative product that will give convenience and ease to people, or something that will disrupt the old way of doing things. With this token, there is none. I don't think the potential of this coin is great.

as long as this token is not stable tokens like the others, it will be nice to buy this at the early stage of its token sales. considering this tokens comes from trusted developers, they will not just dump it. I agree that this will not become like the other tokens that you can hold for long, If you know how to deal with this kind of tokens, you better buy it. Just don't forget to subscribe to know its price every day or weekly.

Maybe the first thing that becomes my question is when Pacquiao has retired from boxing or even died, then what about the fate of the PAC token? Pacquiao's support will be hype for the PAC token, but this will have a time limit that will run out of popularity. I assume only Pacquiao fans and the local community will be attracted to this token.

I really appreciate Pacquiao's actions, because indirectly his support for PAC tokens has made many people know about crypto and blockchain, also using it.

May not really good for long term since it's purpose is for a community based celebrity fan platform which can be done now thru social media. I don't know why it's integrated to be in crypto space however since it can help them to support manny's foundations but in terms of trading or investing purposes it may not good.I'll just join the hype for trading if really gets some hype but not for long term.

Let's see what that hype brings for all us and I don't think they won't put huge funds on this project if that won't prosper in the long run. Manny's foundation has been backed wih his wealthy friends whose anonymous for now,  and I guess he's the number one in demand guy in terms of popularity. Not just with his humbleness as a sports oriented guy, but also for his well being as a reformed christian attitude. Right now, I am not yet planning to purchase on that coin, maybe after the month of November will be better due to good forecast in December.

I will not buy it because we are not in 2015 anymore this kind of token will not survive, what is the point of buying something that relies on hype instead of utility(utility in here is something that solves our problem in real life, not for an autograph)?

It's a fan culture type of coin, and since Manny Pacquiao is not going to be a boxer and cannot sustain his popularity for a long time, I doubt it,  it cannot sustain its long term goal or sustainability, it's good for a pump and dump coin but I have second thought on celebrity back coin, if the celebrity is on their peak but Manny cannot sustain within 5 years.

I'm a fan of Pacquiao but not with this coin. I don't think that we really need more of these personal coins that these celebrities are making. I see that the use case is all about the rewarding system just like any convenience store has.

Yes, we can just ride the hype specially it has the backing of Pacquiao. So after the hype, maybe this coins will just be another shitcoin in the market for all we know.

But I'm not buying this coin either, even if I'm a fan of Manny here. I don't understand it's purpose in the first place, but then again as I have mentioned there could be hype, so for those who wanted to ride, good for you but you should be exiting on time because you don't want yourself to be trap.

The usage of the token is not so solid and I'm curious if it can sustain the price since for sure there are so many things that needed to consider especially if this token will be listed to the market. But I don't know if there will be a good back up to maintain the phase but let see on how things go since I'm little bit excited for the news about the Pac token launching.

I don't know how can you get closer with Manny here? And it's obviously the use case is center on Manny Pacquiao, but what will happen if he retires? Will his fans still support his tokens? I'm also a big fan of Manny Pacquiao but I don't know what the real purpose of him getting into crypto in the first place. I would love to see how will things turn out after the release and maybe if I get to understand it more, chances are I'm might join the bandwagon, just saying.

After seeing those benefits of this coin then i do already lost up my interest yet it isnt really that innovative but rather a useful thing for die hard fans of Pacquiao
other than that i dont see any relevance or important uses but it isnt actually a bad option or risk to take yet this would give out some hype which is good for you to

Personally, it's hard to invest into something that only matters is the name that it's carrying, the main use case of the token is not yet been seen though the target fans who do understand crypto might be willing to take some risk but not the majorities. It will take time for this coin to build interest from wider communities, there's something unique that needs to offer for investors to follow and support this project.
