While browsing my facebook, I saw this post from Crypto Pinoys group page:

University of Perpetual Help System Dalta Medical Center - Imus, Cavite is now accepting bitcoin as a payment.

I am very optimistic that other hospital will reconsider to accept bitcoin as a payments for billing transactions, etc.

There are many reasons why the Philippines is becoming increasingly crypto-friendly. Not only has its central bank registered more crypto exchanges recently, but the Securities and Exchange Commission has also been actively finalizing crypto guidelines. The country has an active crypto community, and one of its largest banks has engaged in multiple crypto projects.

I have done research but I don't know if that is right that they are accepting Bitcoin as a payment or they are just using blockchain. They are developing a blockchain-based healthcare platform. Which is the partnership and support the infrastructure for platform development, and the expansion of medical and radiation dose information.

My referral link here, https://bitpinas.com/news/new-blockchain-based-healthcare-platform-signs-deal-university-perpetual-help-dalta-medical-center/

If that is right, that is the big help to have more exposure to the bitcoin name in our country.

This is legit and good, I saw this but I don't know if its already happening or not. Super saya makakita nito and hopefully magtuloy tuloy ito at no pressure with the government at all. If nagsucceed ito sa UPHSD, naniniwala ako na maraming Hospital pa ang gagaya dito lalo na ang St Lukes and their group of companies. Maraming establishments pa ang susunod dito, this is just the beginning of all.

This may legit since the bitpinas article is created last year, so maybe this year they are already implementing the payment process. Dinisplay lang siguro nila ang QR address to inform their patients that they are accepting crypto kagaya ng sa GCASH process. But it will be sure be processed the same way how hospitals process paymentpero kung may blockchain system din sila na ngpapakita ng calculation and records nung patient and ng nagastos ay mas maganda. It will be a start para sa more adoption ng bitcoin in our country.

Sa tingin ko mas maganda meron talaga ganyan kasi whatever more need more money talaga to pay the bills pwede na tayo magbayad gamit lang phone natin tapos scan lang if may bitcoin man tayo.

Possible, since yung post walang masyadong reactions, at walang source or any press release/post/article link from the institution na andun sa post.

While I bothered bakit pinakita din nila yung wallet address which is dapat institutions/hospital should make it private na sender lang ang dapat may alam para sa security purposes. Also, a change address and a segwit should be considered.

This is just a guess, since maraming mga scammer now and I should be happy then kung totoo yan because, why not?

This hospital must have good knowledge about bitcoin, I wonder how they are going to control the bitcoin's price volatility.
Maybe they hire and expert trader or they partner with a company to that's mission is to control volatility, I just don't think it's possible that they are doing it their own because it might hurt them in the long run, you know BTC is very volatile and unpredictable.

If this is true not bad for a hospital accepting Bitcoin payments. Good way of utilizing Bitcoin, lets consider na alam nila ang potential at risk ng Bitcoin, its good for spreading awareness narin to ordinary people.
