WHAT HAPPENS IF BTC TOUCHES 100K ?

Altcoins will not go zero if bitcoin reaches 100k, altcoins will pump for sure if that happens, but expect that the market will dump anytime because I'm sure many investors will take the profit in the highest price.

Give me a simple scenario how could altcoins pump when bitcoin is having a hard bullish trend?

Cause I believe, OP is talking about bullish trend of bitcoin which always put alts on red trends so I don't think alts will have pump during bitcoin's green trends.

Yes, the conditions at that time made the adoption of crypto grow big. the demand for and development of the crypto project is growing very fast. The market has become unstable after a hard pump that happened in 2017. Now we might see a slightly bad market where bitcoin and altcoin are decreasing and we can only survive and get a little benefit from small pumps.

And yeah, most alts will drop in terms of /btc pairing but the usd pairing will go up

Are they moving up together or it is exactly different between what you are remembering and what exactly happened.

I asked for a scenario cause I do believe when Bitcoin is having a significant  jump, people will FOMO and forget about alts, they will sell alts to buy Bitcoin. Therefore when Bitcoin is pumping, usually puts alts on red for a while so there is no such pumping together

Well, I think he was too worried because he saw the price of bitcoin rise in dominance this year, so he felt that when the price of bitcoin went up, the price of altcoin would go to zero. however, there will be some altcoins that follow the development of bitcoin. I am pretty sure that bitcoin will not develop on its own, but altcoins like ethereum, binance, litecoin, and others will also develop. if the price of bitcoin reaches the price of $ 100k, then the price of altcoin will also go up.

Even if it is obvious that some altcoins will follow the growth of bitcoin the truth is those coins will be a minority, most of the coins are going to remain at the same level or are even going to go down as people finally realize that there is no room anymore for useless coins in this market.

Investors do not really want to risk their money in a coin that they know for a fact will never grow and whatever movement that you see in the price of that coin is probably the result of the manipulations of the few whales that are holding a lot of those coins.

So, the data isnt enough to know in that time bitcoin and altcoin were pump together?
whereas the data shows clearly what happened in that time, IDU what you want.

I know that in this time, while bitcoin pumping, altcoin get red. But it doesnt mean that always happens like that

I don't think it will be during this next bull run. More than likely sometime in the mid 2020's if I had to guess. However, you're probably right about there being a huge correction. That's just a part of it. If it ever hits $100k, I'd sell at that price and buy back in at a lower price to increase my position for free. We're still several years from that happening though.

Don't misinterpret about that, man. if BTC goes up to $100K you might say Altcoin is dead ALT/BTC pair. but not with ALT/USD because as I know so far, if BTC goes up, ALT/BTC goes down. but I am sure that every major trader will not stand still to maintain ALT/BTC stability and will inevitably rise too.

its simple, everyone here becomes stinkingly rich and we all become the news of the whole city, but before that could happen its not as soon as the next bull run. if this happens, poverty will be a story in many families  and a lot of people will be attracted to bitcoin even the government

If BTC were to hit $100k tomorrow, then more than likely all of the alts would have rallied with it. I would think ETH would be at almost $10k, LTC would probably be at $1k or more, and there's no telling what DOGE would be at. This can happen, but it probably won't be any time soon. More than likely, it will be somewhere in the mid 2020's when this happens.

It might be possible for most of the top 20 by market capital to follow suit with Bitcoin and rise along with the ride - but those at the lower end of the scale will probably not be affected. There are too many dead coins and tokens, scams and those abandoned so the idea they will rise along with Bitcoin on its way to $100,000

The next milestone is for Bitcoin to get back to the all time high of around $20,000 then let us see if it ever reaches $100,000 in our lifetime.

If bitcoin goes so high that it reaches 100k then we could see traders and investors being a lot more comfortable taking risks since at that point they could make huge mistakes and they could still make huge profits even if they lost some money investing in altcoins.

But I doubt that many of the coins that are just starting out are going to go as high as some believe, even at that point people are not going to be comfortable investing in such coins knowing their chances of getting profits are not high at all.

Who would have thought that Bitcoin will reach $20,000? Even I who have been an avid fan of Bitcoin was not thinking of this possibility when I first entertained the idea of buying Bitcoin. But then it happened. It was a statement of sort that Bitcoin could conquer whatever odds. It was a statement that everything's possible with Bitcoin. That goes with the altcoins that you mentioned.

don't worry, even though the price of dominant bitcoin is higher than altcoin again, I quite believe that when the price of bitcoin reaches a price of $ 100k, there will be some altcoins that will reach the new ATH as well. I noticed this when BNB reached its ATH this year. it can also happen to other altcoins when bitcoin prices rise. so, don't worry about altcoin when bitcoin prices go up high.

Nothing will happen, because I believe only big whales are holding a large amount of bitcoin at this time because they have taken from the hands of traders who have sold it cheaply until now, the old ALT may be far more tempting than the new ALT, I don't think it will never become zero or discarded except for new ALTs, they will reach new ATHs too when Bitcoin reaches 100k, but I can't determine either, just look at it later it only takes a few more years from now, I only take a few old ALTs and a few others

It is not impossible at all. It's actually more than likely going to go a lot higher than that. I not only think $100k is possible before 2030, but even higher than that. As far as changes? Not much will change. We've seen $20,000 or close to it and it brought all time highs for almost every altcoin. I would say that's probably what's going to happen. Mostly due to all the new money coming into the market cap that would be needed to raise the price that much.

It is not impossible at all. It's actually more than likely going to go a lot higher than that. I not only think $100k is possible before 2030, but even higher than that. As far as changes? I don't want to sound like a pessimist, but who would buy btc if it reaches 6 digits? I mean for it to reach that amount, people should be willing to buy bitcoin at 50k, 70k, 90k. If you're earning though just salary, that'd be quite a gamble if you're going to buy in at that range. Of course there will be people who would keep the value moving, but i doubt we'll see 100k in 10 years as you've said.

What do you mean nothing happen because of the whales hold big amount ? If whales are holding bunch of it, doesn't mean we couldn't buy and get the profits when it touch 100k. Don't care about the whales, price is cheap right now and we have to buy as much as we can and we could get much profits in the future
