Bitcoin Daily Living

Using bitcoin for daily living is an ideal one. I would want to use bitcoin in daily transactions but I don't really have enough bitcoin to help me survive with my daily expenses. I'm still working hard to earn more btc and rather than spending it everyday, I'm trying to save it for the future. Though I can buy things I want and I need with bitcoin but of course I still have to limit myself in spending it. Also one thing is that, besides from paying utility bills, using bitcoin, I can mostly buy things through online which is not a very practical option. It's much better to buy things personally but they don't accept bitcoin at all.

It's really so good if we can use and spend bitcoin daily, it's gonna help more bitcoin to increase and gets more value. I'd like to spend it daily but I don't really earn a lot of btc so I'd rather hold it instead of using it to buy stuffs. I meant, already i can use my local currency to buy anything i want but it seems that bitcoin is more valuable than being spending by buying normal stuffs.

Acceptance of bitcoin as means of payment or for any transaction daily is not acceptable for now in my country Although I used to pay for any goods and services using fiat however there exist trusted agents that I trade some of my bitcoin to fiat in a swift transaction thus I have no cause to worry about whether some stores or other services accept bitcoin or not I obviously believe that in few years to come bitcoin would be well recognized as an alternative means of payment in my country.

Well for most of us, this just isn't applicable yet. I also try to use bitcoin, or even ether and ripple, anywhere possible. Though there's just limited markets where i can use it for now. Most of the time for online purchases only. The main use for crypto for me at the moment would be for trading. And i'm pretty sure a lot of us here deals the same way with it.

Bitcoin is not really popular in my country despite looking for a place to use my bitcoin anywhere I could I still have to find a single business that accepts bitcoin so it is difficult for me to imagine how someone could survive with bitcoin alone.

However this could be possible in a country like Japan which has adopted this technology, but before it happens everywhere else we need more affordable fees and this is only possible through the LN.

I don't live on crypto-only because I can't pay bills and buy food with it. I do however buy almost everything else with crypto and my income revenues include bitcoin as a payout method alongside all the normal banking ones and PayPal which is nice to see because being paid used to be a problem for me. They always wanted me to have a Paypal or something. The bank I use doesn't support Paypal.

I agree with you we can't use crypto to paybills in all aspect as mode of payment, but I admit crypto can help for me to get worse of living to fullfill all my needs if my fiat salary in the my office job is not enough to sustain the needs of my family. i am truly blessed because in the help of this new technology as crypto currency believer I survive and I give the fulfillment of my family needs.

This is correct. Cryptocurrency is full of wild swings and one needs to have a reliable source of income (job, business) to meet daily needs. I do earn a lot from crypto but I am not 100% dependent on CC for living, I have a job that keeps my paying every week.

A must thing should be considered by anyone of us specially to those people who do tend to stop or leave their day job and go full time with crypto.

It isnt really that idea yet we know that everything on this market doesnt give an assurance to give you constant profits that would support your living forever.

However, if you do able to make some decent amount of money might able to change your life forever on financial aspect thats why its still a worthy thing to

Affordable fees? The fees have been quite affordable in the last couple of months. If you think fees of $0.05 are expensive, then you should rethink what it means to use Bitcoin. Bitcoin's on-chain fees will never be similar to what shitcoins such as Litecoin or Dogecoin offer, simply because their networks aren't being used much at all.

$0.05 in fees is crazy cheap if you add the fact that you use the safest and most liquid network available. That should be worth at least a couple of cent per transaction, right?

Unfortunately there is always a problem with the government, with the country you are living at , it is actually very cool and lucky to live in a country which supports.
We have to actually find sites accepting Bitcoins and not even sites the offline one's are a real problem, also the lightning network is not embedded in every system and wallets that we use therefore it is actually a problem with everything.
It's not as easy as it sounds .

That's right, it should be really considered, sacrificing real work only for totality with crypto is not a good solution although crypto can generate income but in my opinion you can still do it even though you already have a permanent job.
most importantly, take the time to crypto and besides that you will have double the income from your work and the results of crypto and it will be much better.

We can use bitcoin as much as we can. I used it everyday but not for everyday living. I had another job or sideline to take and receive fiat. I just using bitcoin for my emergencies or when I needed it when I want to buy something on internet. same as you @lizarder fiat is still not acceptable everywhere in my country and people still doubt of bitcoin uses. but I don't care about them. as long as bitcoin helps me, I will keep using it because we know what it can do and where it can really help.

It would be very hard to do so, to live on BTC you'll have 2 main conditions

- You'll need a decent sum of BTC to be able to pay for everything or a source of income that pays you in crypto-currencies.
- You will also need to be able to find stores for food/water, transport, recreation activities, and real estate options that are able to be payable in BTC, or at least accept gift cards (which are usually able to be bought for with BTC).

Right now, this very hard to do, unless you live in a country with fairly high adoption rates (eg, Singapore).

Yea you may as well spend it instead of fiat. When people say they don't want to spend their bitcoin it makes no sense. Yes. I agree Crypto job is a good thing we can earn daily, there is more benefit as you all know but as you said we cannot rely on that job any time suddenly it will increase and suddenly it will collapse.

4 years ago I decided to focus on crypto, a difficult start, but over time I could live in crypto. indeed this work is no guarantee for the future, but for at least 5 years in crypto, we already have something for the future, like a business outside of crypto. because right now we can see, it is increasingly difficult to get bitcoin.

I do, sometimes... Like paying bills and etc but it's a rare case because it's more convenient to use fiat. I barely see people paying with crypto. Bitcoin is like my source of extra income but it's hard to use bitcoin directly in buying things. We still need more mass adoption for us to achieve that scenario.

I personally use Bitcoin wherever I possibly can, and accept it directly without converting it to fiat immediately. I have been using Bitcoin daily for years. (Ever since Bitpay started improving its Bitcoin debitcard product)

as of now, it is really hard to live only using bitcoin
in my country, until now you can't live only using card almost all the transaction is using real cash
like transportation, small groceries, and even small restaurant
