Anyone have any ideas how I can mod/short this PSU to power on when not in the chassis?  I figure the large pads are + and -, I just need to find a way to get this thing to power on without the server.

It's a EMACS/Zippy G1W 3960 960W PSU.  I have 2 of them.  Each one will easily power 2 overclocked Ant S1's, probably 3 non-overclocked units.

If anyone can think of a way for me to figure out how to get it to power on outside of the server, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks,

your best bet is to take a known ground (doesnt necessarily need to be from that power supply, since its all unknown) and start shorting it to the small pins one by one. once it turns on, you can use a multimeter to figure out the polarity of that fat tabs

That's a great idea, thanks.  I'll give it a shot tonight
