It will be interesting to see which coins actually get used. Back in the day, Bitwalla added a lot of coins you could use to load your pre-paid card. And most of them never got used at all.

That's pretty neat if you run out of fiat and need to buy something but don't want to have problems with taxation when withdrawing from exchange to bank.
Another thing I'm missing are lower fees for buying crypto with credit card. Coinbase has 3.99% fee, Bitstamp 5%.

Do you think maybe this is part of something larger Coinbase could be working on? They have added alot of coins/tokens lately...
I thought i had heard they were gonna make their own exchange or something, hmm

I would really like to see coonbase growing globally, personally i do not like the fact that they do not provide service globally or their service is limited to few countries only, i mean this is just against the concept of crypto, i hope they will work to become truly global soon or else some other similar platform can takeover.

I haven't used coinbase for a very long time and until now but I can see that they've been working hard and expanding as much as they can. Before there were few crypto's accepted on their exchange, mainly coinbase not the coinbase pro.

Yes, they are and it's commendable that they are doing it although if we're going to compare them with Binance, these two are not on par.

They maybe working on it as we speak. Because if not, other entities will do that kind of business, being global. They will be left behind if they will not continue to explore their other business opportunities. Since more and more people are into crypto, it is their chance to expand their operations.

i can clearly see where the future is heading for
there will be universal wallets/credit cards with many coins to use
people will invest in real estate/gold/whatever possible investment there is, with crypto currency
and they will be able to use that real estate and gold to pursache things
i think Charles Hoskinson talked about it few years back, and thats really heading thoward this future

I think this is a good thing to give users many choices because there are differences in the costs of transactions each coin or token. This also indicates that coinbase wants to always advance to the front in serving crypto lover in asset storage and withdrawal. That way I can ensure that coinbase is still a pretty safe place. Besides that, I have been using coinbase for 2 years in deposits and withdrawals to the bank and I'm very satisfied.

I am not active using coinbase wallet after last three years using coinbase only for receiving payment from hype project investing, I think with new payment option added for coinbase card user give many benefit to use coinbase and easy to purchase or withdrawal our bitcoin and cash money for the future, I hope many exchange will allow with coinbase way to added new payment option.

It's a great news for altcoin users. That would give the flexibility and save users from manually exchange their coins.
The more desirable change would have been the lowering of fees as users are made to pay much larger than normal bank cards.

that's a good thing indeed, but Coinbase does not yet have mass adoption in Asia,
although their cards can be used but not everyone uses these cards, what is the use of that card? Where is the payment for? or just save crypto money?

One thing that can i see from something like this is people have a lot of options especially when they are exchange wallet users. I mean who keep their money in exchange, because fee for withdraw bitcoin itself is very big, they will look coins that have smaller fee and will use it. Correct me if i am wrong, or at least that is what i see from the Coinbase feature that can be used by people.

This is a strategic move by coinbase to remain a leading alternative by adding new cryptocurencies as payment options.  New projects are entering into the crypto-payment market and are offering support for more cryptocurrencies as payment options than coinbase. I look forward to seeing how this competition and the market of crypto-payment cards will evolve.

I've used coinbase a while ago just to follow some events from them and experient that it can be very nice.
Website responsible, fast and easy transaction, simple but cool look makes you feel welcome to use them. And the above news is good to prefer Coinbase.

Coinbase is indeed a good and good exchange to use, so don't hesitate to use it, because there are already too many who use coinbase exchanges in terms of trading and others.

Coinbase is doing what's needed of a platform like them to make crypto currencies usable in day to day transactions and I think they need to be praise for this. I forseen a time when we will not have issues to use our crypto coins to paid for good and services and Coinbase is one of the exchange leading us to such reality.

Most of the coins that Coinbase listed here actually have real use case and they have really been under used, which I think that it is the high time to actually start promoting many of them. Coins like this with real use case are the ones that will eventually take over the market in the future and I think Coinbase has already realized this which is why they are quickly working along with the project.

It is a really great step that Coinbase took and I am sure that it will have some positive impact on those coins that is being listed there as Coinbase is an exchange that has its foot grounded in the United State and they also have some level of trust already built by the user. So, they will trust the use of some of these coins even though there are some few ones that I have never heard of.
