Apparently, they did!  You can follow the main thread here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5201753.0 As it's self-moderated and Dean is not too keen on sharing the matter with the community, I thought this thread would help. When asked for details by LoyceV, this is the reply he was presented with,

You do not have a balance on the site so it's none of your business and I clearly wouldn't tell you considering you actively tried to stop investors from recovering or making any profit from betking in the first place.
I won't be discussing any details at all of where or how in this forum (the users with largest balance/tokens I can trust may get to know details).
I am only posting this here for users with funds who may have not got the email but might see this.

Ignoring all the ICO and investor crap the service went through recently, it's hard to believe the site actually got hacked. Also, use this thread to request your money if in case your replies are deleted on other thread.

Any website, no matter who is running it, is susceptible for hacks but the way they responded to LoyceV's enquiries reveals a lack of professionalism from their part.

Till now, only three newbies posted on that thread pretending they were able to withdraw their funds. Don't know why they made that topic self moderated if they don't have anything to hide!

The website has been offline since a month, which started when the domain name expired. He "hack" was from before that, and from what I've read apparently they kept refilling the hot wallet until the hacker drained them. Even the proven scammer can't be that dumb, so there must be something else behind it.

Dean has announced several times to leave Bitcointalk, and yet he comes crawling back here every time, no doubt hoping to trick new "investors".
The lack of information speaks volumes too, it took him a month to place a small announcement on his site.

Its an cheap strategy to hold Betkings old investor and most probably have plan to guide them to another new scam hole. There is no doubt that he is planning something new to steal money from old platforms victim again. After seeing the reply of him (on your question) i don't think there is anything left for them who have already got scammed by this scammer.

Technically speaking I don’t care as long as he repays everyone that he owes money to in full. Based on his history, I would not hold my breath. He has a pretty long history of very shady business dealings and that is being generous.

Scam artist Dean Nolan deleted all my referred players, you can be rest assured that the "hack" was an inside job!
I don't think the hack ever happened lol It's a very smooth exit strategy once you've made enough money to buy a house in Hawaii.

If they're going to post stuff on the forum, they should be ready to answer questions as well especially if it's coming from well respected members.

It looks like shills to me. They way they're creating new accounts and posting as soon as the thread is created.

Can you point out any well respected members that asked me questions? Only seen posts from trolls and idiots.

As I already said, I am only interested in answering questions to people who had funds on the site, you know, the people actually effected. Not you lot.

There is LoyceV, JollyGood and a couple of them who posted in your thread. If you have your own set of trusted people on the forum then I can't really expect you to answer anyone. Since your thread is self-moderated I'm leaving this one open for other questions that you might be interested in answering here.

As I already said, I am only interested in answering questions to people who had funds on the site, you know, the people actually effected. Not you lot.
Could you tell us about the hack atleast? Like was it a random hacker who got access to your admin panel or whatever. It can be a learning lesson for other gambling sites no?

There is LoyceV, JollyGood and a couple of them

You name 2 people who have done nothing but lie about me and betking for over a year. Making accusations with not a single bit of evidence. None of who even understand the basics of the BK ico even though all the details are public and easily searchable on this forum. As are all the answers to all the initial questions raised.

So you have one person who never invested a penny in the BK ico and another who got $700 worth of tokens wrongly due to an error in bounty payment. Both of who have actively tried to stop investors who were still looking to recover 7 figures from even breaking even.

You take those two guys word over the 500+ token holders in the ICO? That's the problem with this forum. Not a single person who has left me negative trust was in the ico. None of them risked funds on bk or the ico.
Those are the best judges?

You got $700 worth of tokens for free right? That's something you have admitted yourself. I can't remember what you did, either translation or some blog or something. But the token amounts paid were wrong. You didn't do $700 worth of work or bring $700 worth of value to the site. You got that much due to all the extremely low quality bounties that were excluded. Not that it matters.

The fact remains that you got $700 worth of free tokens and risked absolutely nothing but deliberately tried to stop investors recovering 7 figures all because you didn't understand the ICO you got free tokens in. That is fact.

Seriously, what age are you? How could you be so petty and selfish and totally disrespectful to other investors like that. You and Jollygood, though he's clearly worse. I know you guys are addicted to the little fame you get in this shithole of a forum. Maybe go for a walk or something some time or think about actually doing something with yourselves.

Why were you referring people to a scam casino? Sounds like you may owe them compensation.

Speaking of petty and selfish and totally disrespectful to other investors, why did you lock the thread after I posted this?

Quote
All users with significant balances have been contacted by email or Telegram. If you have not received an email and had BTC, ETH, EOS or LTC on the site please email support@betking.io.

This is the dumbest way to handle this. Did they deposit via e-mail or telegram? There are so many ways how this can fail.

And how exactly are you planning to refund if you got hacked? Is this one of those white knight schemes where you pretend to be hacked and "recover" part of it to make yourself look good and avoid getting sued.

And then you disrespectfully called me...

No one got anything for free monkey, you hired people to advertise you, they did and you payed them for that. As for $700 which turned out to be few bucks, it was worth for you when you collected millions but now you don't find it worthy?

Irrelevant how someone got tokens, if they have tokens their "voice" counts as well. Bounty hunters have exactly the same rights as investors, stop fooling people.

To be fair: I think game-protect is referring to the "first version" of BetKing: I didn't check if there were referrals back then, but if he had referrals, they were all removed when the site closed. Then, after the scam ICO, Dean basically re-opened the same site, but all old accounts (and thus the referrals) were gone.
Removing referrals happened before the ICO scam was exposed.

No one got anything for free monkey, you hired people to advertise you, they did and you payed them for that. As for $700 which turned out to be few bucks, it was worth for you when you collected millions but now you don't find it worthy?
I didn't bother to even give him a reply anymore, the same BS has been discussed in depth in [FLAGGED] [scam] BetKing.io broke ICO promise and dropped token value 99%. Dean kept coming up with new BS and ignored all logic. There's no point arguing with a desperate scammer, so all that's last is to make sure his bad reputation is widely know. I think that mission has been accomplished Cheesy

It's kinda funny sad though, how Dean himself earned millions after selling 70% of all BKB Tokens (and suddenly his 30% unbought Tokens had the same value!), while he didn't add anything to the site other than luring in investors to scam.. He basically re-launched the old site and forgot about most of his promises of what the money was supposed to be used for.
