They have a double chance to increase their money as they can win and increase their btc and increase its value at the same time in the future.
However, I think they are also employing a risk management program to to avoid volatility on the portion of their coins they are holding, they maybe from time to time convert it to stable coin so the business would really last long.

What we are thinking is the positive scenario only, what if BTC will drop 10x and that would hurt the bankroll of the gambling sites as gamblers are still gambling based on its fiat value although they are using btc as a tool to gamble.

Most of the online crypto gambling sites now ask for ID submission and they will have to go through the KYC process. This is because the casinos have to abide by the anti money laundering laws. There are sites that don't ask for KYC (yet). Crypto-games.net is one of them. You should give it a try.
I would still prefer gambling with crypto currencies even on a physical live casino. Every thing is more easier that way.

With having this reality in mind that casinos are not a place where you will double your crypto currencies, it would be better to play with very small amounts then. Casinos live for themselves. If they start rewarding every gambler, then it would become more of a charity house. I am not against this approach. Businesses are supposed to be done this way. Gamblers should be careful with their bet amounts only.

I prefer crypto honestly. Unless I would play with my acquaintance or someone I just know, then I would go for fiat. But if we're talking about physical casinos where I have to go where people in the higher class would go, I don't go there. I might end up not controlling myself. And I'm not that type of person. Pardon my quoting a part of the old text, but I don't think one has to be tech-savvy at all to use cryptocurrency. Or people use to think it's anonymous, but as soon as you try to exchange with fiat, you hit the KYC wall... then all your historic transactions are revealed.
Unless ofcourse you never exchange for fiat... that might be a viable option in the future if more stores start accepting BTC.

Plus not every cryptocoin is a privacy coin. And not all privacy coins have strong privacy or guarantee privacy.

Stablecoins(especially USDT) could be good bridge between cryptocoins and fiat currencies for those people who are more comfortable with their national currencies. For the sake of crypto mass adoption, crypto people could convince the online stores own by conservative-like people to accept USDT and exchange it easily with Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies whenever they want. This is assuming that they find cryptocurrency strange and are more comfortable with what feels/looks like their national currencies. Afterall stablecoins are backed by their national currencies, preserving the fiat values/prices

Online gambling is more fun with crypto as it is more volatile, anonymous and convenient to transact.  I go for fiat money when in casinos but it could be boring at times. Also, returns on crypto can be more rewarding as it is more volatile but still it is good as it is untraceable. btw BTC has gone 6 month lowest ever today , good luck !

It seems most of the bigtime gambler is now prefer to use the cryptocurrency when playing because of its anonymity. If ever you want to experience a good gambling game its better to use fiat currency and go to the casino and play different games. I know in online gambling it is also accept fiat currency but sometime it takes a lot of time to deposit unlike in cryptocurrency that just take few minutes. For who not really want to keep anonym and not reveal their identity, and then not going anywhere but want to play gambling, cryptocurrency can be really good option. But the problem is for now not much site that not ask for KYC. Maybe they only follow the rules, but maybe i hope  the rest gambling sites that i know, not ask KYC or it will same like the others who ask their users to do KYC.
