A brand new radio experience is coming to the internet! Discussion began in this thread and progress is coming along nicely. Right now, we desperately need support. We are closely tied to the community and we will only be able to survive with your help. If you're willing to like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter, that would be wonderful. We also have a few things set up at our website which you can check out as well. There are Bitcoin and Litecoin addresses there that you can use if you are able to make a donation. We definitely need it and every little bit counts!

Here's a list of the people we are looking for to join our team:

• Web designer: This is one of our most important positions right now. Our site will be fairly simple because it will really only feature our station and a bit of other info, but we still want it to look good. If you can help us make that happen, please consider joining us.
• Content Providers: The station will be a mix of prerecorded and live content. We're aiming for more live content, but for the moment, we'll take anything that can help us fill the time. If you have a podcast that you want aired, get in touch. If you think you're able to broadcast live for us on a regular schedule, please do the same.
• Guests: We'd love to have some guests on our shows, so if you are well connect to something important in the Bitcoin community, we want you. If you run a Bitcoin service, accept Bitcoin at your store, help develop Bitcoin or anything like that, we'd love to have you join us somehow.
• News Editors: If you can keep up with the latest Bitcoin happenings and know how to put together news clips, you can help.
• Donations: If you are unable to contribute in other ways, donations will definitely make a difference. Money will be used first to cover server costs. Anything extra will go directly to advertising the station.

We will do our best to keep you updated as things happen. In this OP and thread, we'll tell you all about our progress and plans. Let us know if you have any questions or if you think you can help in any way. Thank you so much for your support!

Public Announcement

All,

Over the last 6 months, announcements and communication from the Bit-FM Team has been either non-existent or very infrequent. This is a Public Announcement to confirm that this project is still on going and that the Bit-FM Dream has not been lost.

The original giveaway price has not been forgotten and has been extended until the launch date. The total prize amount has been increased from 0.01BTC to 0.1BTC.

We have been working hard behind the scenes to ensure that this project will be a huge success upon its launch in the future. We are currently working with external contractors who are building an efficient a reliable web interface for the stations broadcasters and implementing a breath-taking website for visitors to interact with.

Bit-FM will be licensed and regulated by the UK PPL enabling us to broadcast legally over the internet. Discussions are already in place with the PPL to secure a license to broadcast.

In addition to this work undergoing, we are currently undergoing talks as to if Bit-FM should apply to be listed on the CryptoShares website, enabling members of the community to own a share of the company. We would like to ask to feedback in regards to this idea.

As it currently stands, a definite launch date has not yet been confirmed. The team are unable to confirm such a date until the website is out of testing. Once this has been confirmed, we will release such dates to you in the form of a public announcement.
