While I'm sure this will boost the price short term like it has, I don't see this lasting for the longer term. I'm pretty sure you could still use your debit card to make the purchase at Pornhub. I don't use it, so I'm not entirely sure. But, XVG won't be the only option to pay even if it is now. Most of the people interested in paying for that sort of thing, aren't going to take the time out of what they're doing to learn how to buy and use XVG.

While I'm sure this will boost the price short term like it has, I don't see this lasting for the longer term. I'm pretty sure you could still use your debit card to make the purchase at Pornhub. I don't use it, so I'm not entirely sure. But, XVG won't be the only option to pay even if it is now. It may be a small bull run for XVG but I think It will affect the XVG price, in the long run, As we know pornhub is one of the largest/famous NSFW website , Crypto users have a great chance that they would choose XVG payment for their subscription, We know that it is a monthly subscription, So users tend to buy monthly if it is their chosen payment method.

i think they hate transactions regarding adult contents. that's what i know form the begining actually i have a client few yeas ago which his web projects are mostly adult dating sites and he only uses paxful. anyway not that verge is accepted on pornhub, are we going to see more verge users going to have an orgy every weekend?

XVG is such a weird coin to have added haha, and there's alot of bagholders, i still cant understand why they partnered : /

As far as I know, it has been implemented for a while. The reason for the price increase is that they quit accepting Paypal as a payment option on Pornhub. Leaving XVG as one of the only other ways to pay for whatever premium service they offer there. I find it hard to believe that Pornhub is only accepting Verge as a payment right now though. Surely they have some other credit card processor they use besides Paypal. I really think this will just end up being a short term pump because of the news. If I had a bunch of XVG, I would sell it and buy back in at a lower price point.

After looking into it a bit more, it seems this is more focused on the models on the site. XVG is an option for them to be paid in crypto, but they also have like 4 other payment options. One of which is bank deposit. Then, you also have a Paypal alternative to pay with as well. So, XVG isn't the only payment option like people have been claiming. I don't see this being a long term pump of the coin price. Seems like you can also pay for whatever services on there with these same payment options. But, it's also not just paying for porn like you and I thought. It's a live chat currency. That's something that I know people will actually pay for for whatever reason.

However, rumors come from something. And I think that people who pay for porn (if they did not exist, it would not be such a large industry), they prefer to use anonymous cryptocurrencies then credit cards and when going to the bank for a loan, not read on the bank statements information about payments for porn service.
If the rumors will confirm, it can be a good Christmas time for bagholders of XVG

I got your point and that's what im thinking about right now. But the elimination of paypal just give a little more speculation if those are using paypal to pay the porn site these days will be moving to the altcoin like verge. Compared with monero and verge is nothing and it has been hacked so many times, according to that reasons and there will be no reason to use it.
But it looks like verge is the only crypto party who was offering such service to that site to provide the more users.
We know that these days the competition in crypto is very strict especially to get the demand. Verge knows that if that field is still empty from the crypto players.

i think verge has collaborated with porn hub before, but verge is still the same.. and looking at the price of verge today is at 45 sats.. its very low compared before..
