The poll looks funny because nobody chose "i'm addicted" and I bet there's more than one addict browsing this forum. When I see people tell their stories of how they borrowed money from someone and gambled it all away I know they are addicted but first rule of addiction is that real addicts don't want to admit it. That's why on this forum where addicts are posting every day nobody chose this option.

I don't gamble much but when I do it's to win more money and do something excited. Sometimes you need that little dose of adrenaline and gambling gives it.

I think I made a mistake, it's too discreet to put "I'm addicted" e.g. anyone who is addicted to alcohol will say that they are not addicted, so are they with gambling, there are some who are suppressed but will not admit. Although I look at it from this point of view, I used to borrow gambling money in the 20's and practically speaking it was an addict, but well it lasted for a short time.

I only chose one option for your poll but I will reply to some of your questions.

1. In gambling I don't think it's about how much money is spent in gambling, because I enjoy it only by predicting or analyzing.

2. No, I don't like alcohol at all, I just love gambling. So don't assume that people who like gambling are people who like alcohol and or drugs.

3. This is my goal in gambling, although I don't always get a win in gambling every day, but in gambling at least I always expect winning. Therefore I am very difficult to get a winning and usually I will always get more losses than wins even though sometimes in the end big wins will be obtained or even just lose.

4. Both, but as time goes by I often gamble online and have left offline gambling. Both of these types of gambling have different levels of fun and as long as I experience, offline gambling is more for fun.

5. I'm not sure who often bet on my family, I only realize gambling addiction is not something that happens because of an inheritance or hereditary nature of the family. Gambling addiction happened because of an environment, this happened and I experienced when actively gambling offline every day and that was the beginning I knew many types of gambling.

Enjoying and hope for a win. I think both of that reason already bring me to gamble. But i am only play with small amount of money because i am not earning much in crypto. And why i play in crypto, because no way i can play in my country with fiat. I afraid if caught by law when i play with fiat although there are some sites that i can use to gamble with money.

I am not a regular gambler but when I play gambling, my first reason is about hoping for money [win]. I think it is what many people also expect much in gambling. Well, another reason is for having fun. I can spend my crypto by playing gambling while enjoying the game. To be honest, even if my main reason is to get money but the most I get is a pleasure.

That's what I am trying to tell to OP yet he's not responding, i wonder if he ever want to discuss with us with this thread. Anyway, why gamble if you can't barely win? Most of the answers are for fun and I know that some of us didn't really win too much profit because we barely win but we do enjoy it at the same time so it's all worth it.

Because there is still a chance to win even if it is a small chance. So, why not try more! Maybe in the next attempts, luck will be on my side.

I know that some of us didn't really win too much profit.

I pick option 3 and 4 how much did I earn? it varies my lowest winning was $50 and my highest was $200 and this is on a $20 capital per game
I play online casinos and this is after finishing my project of the day, I started to gamble when I was referred by a friend online to play dice because it is very exciting and it sure is.

4 of the 6 choices is my reason for playing so i think i dont have to choose in between.

enjoying = 20-30$ weekly but depend on my mood,it can goo higher or lower.

love = yeah alcohol is part of playing sometimes but not all the time.

hope for a win = nothing specific as we knew gambling is a luck game .

fun = i both do,online and ffline

When I was a little kid we used to play heads or tails with my classmates along with other games involving coins. That was already a form of gambling which my mom would never allow me playing. The games grew more sophisticated over time.

The poll choices are rather vague. For example, the option I love could also mean I am enjoying every minute of it or because it is fun. I chose I love and Hope for a win. Now to answer the follow up questions.

Nope. I guess I like beer more than I like gambling. But the two are a perfect combination.

There is no fixed earning. There are winning days as there are also losing days. I cannot anymore compute my average earning, or probably losses.

I select the option for numbers 1, 3, and 4. But for number 3, I don't have the biggest hope because I know that winning in gambling will need big luck too, so I don't think that it will easy for me to win. Besides that, I don't earn much money from gambling because that is hard for me to win.

For the option numbers 1, that is because playing gambling can give me time to have my time alone because I play on my room without anyone knows. I think I use some money for about $15 in a month to gamble, but all of that money will not be used for playing gambling because I don't gamble every day.

For option numbers 4, I play online gambling because I feel that is the easy way for me to have fun in any gambling game, and I don't have to think about win or lose.

I gamble just because of the fun of it, I am an ardent soccer lover I always deploy my skills in analyzing and predicting soccer matches to bet thus enjoying the fun of it while always cautious of the amount of money I use to place my bet of course maximum of 2% of my investment.
I am not a gambling addict thus nobody knows my habit as a gambler because I anonymously do my things thanks to internet and cryptocurrencies.

Human being is such a greedy person that they want to win every bet and want to make free money. Thus due to this thing people keep on losing lot of money and owners of casinos are making lot of money . Only people who can control can be safe in such gambling zone.

lets accept the reality that more of the posters story wasn't true and they only say what their mind tells but not the real score.

Actually, all gamblers belong to number 3, I even include my self since I also hope to win every time I play.

We do hope to win each and every day. It is not possible if you are lucky enough to win every time you play. But we all know that there is no such thing, even in gambling there are ups and downs.

The same goes here. This is the second reason why I gamble, to have fun. Aside from hoping I am looking for fun and to kill some time.

I gamble for fun. Although I have this aim as well to win, but really when I play I just want to have fun and not to stressed myself about losing. I play online casino and don't go to physical casinos since I only intend to play for fun and I don't want to over spend myself. In online, I can control myself better and it's much more convenient since I don't have to go to different places just to gamble.
