Why are you gambling?

When I’ve learned to gamble before, my main reason is to have some enjoyment and fun but when I experience of winning I am for a win. It gives enjoyment when playing gambling online with no hassle. We all know sometimes luck may not come in our way. So there is always a need a self control not to be greedy when already experience of winning.

First I admit I'm addicted, other than that I gamble just to have fun, spend crypto and of course certainly hope to win can double capital.
but in reality the thing that often happens is I gamble to get a target that is beyond my ability that I can reach. addicted gambling.

I am definitely enjoying it, I can't count it in USD because I gamble with crypto.
My range is about 0.01 to 0.1 weekly, and it changes from time to time, that's why its a long range but I am a discipline gambler so if I gamble like 0.1, I know i can manage it.

I don't think why I am gambling, that's my principle, but I can treat my fiends after for a drink if I got lucky and won a decent amount.

Hard to tell because everyday is not a winning day, that's the reality.

Both, but I play online casino most of the time as I just stay at home in front of my computer as that's the nature of my job.

ENJOYING in a sense of winning, and entertaining towards to my fellow players. I don't usually gamble that's why I cannot tell the range of how much I earn in this weekly. HOPE FOR A WIN That is the first reason why I gamble because I expecting something in return. As I stated I often gamble, not everyday though but to give you an idea I win usually a money that is enough to buy a decent clothes. It's interesting no one voted "I'm addicted". I wonder if we don't really have even few addicts here. I guess they are shy, scared to click on it, or probably don't know they are addicted...

Mine is probably 3. My first try of online gambling was probably 2016 or 2017. And that was when I got few Bitcoin from a faucet/gambling site. I think I played hoping to win. I played once or few times & didnt play again till this year(2019)with bonuses. I probably will try again when I find a game that interest me... most likely skill-based games.

I think the number one reason was obvious it is because we wanted to win the price in the game or hoping to win the bet in gambling.
Especially in cryptocurrency I think gambling was really is fun but sometimes we just game win every time in a bet or other gambling games but I think we all have this all of this reason but most of all we want to win the game. I do gambling every time I have extra income and I end up winning a lot of times winning the game was fun and addicting so I think this is part of gambling.

The main reason why I am gambling is because of entertainment, so my answer would fall to the number 1 which is enjoying.
Yes, I am enjoying gambling because I have matured and i am well discipline now, I am more realistic that losing happens most of the time that winning and with that reality, I need to ensure I can limit my bet so I would last for a longer session, although most of the time I ended up losing but I just accept it and consider it as the payment of the entertainment I got.

it's actually an expense on my part but having a chance to win is good privilege for me.

1-4 Yes that's the reasons for me doing gambling but not for the 5th.
1. I have a limit on how much money to spend every week, it is capped at $100 a week but some time I do not even gamble during a whole week as I gamble for fun so I do not force myself to gamble every week.
2. It is not good comparison IMO, when someone love alcohol or smoking then it can be something called as addiction.
3. Surely any gamblers although they do it for fun, they still hoping for a win. There is no fixed amount of how much I can win or I can lose in single day, so I cant say how much I earn in one day
4. Online since there is no offline casinos here in my country. Even if there is offline casino then I'll prefer online casino.

To be honest, I just gamble because I have never developed a habit of saving, and together with the gambling thrill, it just got me hooked up.

It has much to do with how I am, always I wanted to spend more than what I save, and until I found gambling, I always felt like a very rich person. Because I spent wisely, but did it hugely.

But after I found gambling, majority of my spending is towards this gambling entertainment. I'm not addicted to it per se, I'm just kinda habituated with it. Along with that I have a couple of small loans, which I can easily pay off if I save two to three days, but since I'm so habituated that the funds end up being in my gambling balance and I think I can just make full amount within one single day to return all loans.

I select all of the choices because mostly while I love playing of gambling in the real world, and also it makes to easy to me to lay when it comes online, and it is more enjoyable than the real world, there is no so much pressure. I become addicted to gambling because, most of the time, every game I play, I always win, and so few did I experience to lose because I know the mechanics and some techniques of the game. I think it is also called an addiction too. In my everyday life, I need to play just even only one game to make my day.

It is only common because every gamblers wanted to win. No one wants to lose their money just to have fun nor being addicted to gambling. Hoping to win is the number one choice because that's the nature of every individual, to have an easy money and to experience winning. Enjoyment or the feeling of fun is just a second factor that we gamblers are looking for, but the reality is we really wanted and always hoping to win every game.

I've tried gambling before, but didn't go out well for me, that is why I quit on playing it once I've realized that I don't have any future on it (I can't rely my future on it). My reason why I don't play gambling even it is fun, is because the addiction of it, that includes our money in the story, our time is also being wasted alongside with our money if we are losing, so what is the point of continuing if you don't win, of course none, that is why it is important to have a time for yourself to think about what decision you should make once you noticed that you need one, before it is too late.

Good to hear that you save yourself on time. You cannot rely on gambling for your future. It is nothing like an income source. Majority of gamblers try to make living out of this activity but eventually fail. It is just a game of luck. Not only this, at times house is also against you. So what are the chances to win against two powerful opponents, luck and house. Due to the money involvement, it become a lot addictive.

Good point, you know that one is truly matured in gambling career the moment they consider it as an expensive entertainment which should be paid in order to gain. The experience and past losses really help us shape our minds with that approach where we can see things clearly instead of lust of money.

Indeed. The questions look a bit strange, especially for number 1, 3, and 4. Moreover, number 1 & 4 should be in the same option since basically they have the same meaning "Pleasure". Yes, if the focus on enjoying or fun, they mustn't care so much on "earning money daily/weekly". OP maybe forget about the essence of enjoy/fun.    While for the number 3, I think what you stated above has been clear enough. Hope for daily income in gambling seems no sense.
