^ You got it right, but if you are very lucky to join and read the announcement before the given time will end and base on OP's statement it is just a couple of minutes. I will grab the chance and probably I am lucky enough and hit the jackpot prize as OP's said. Gamblers are always looking for free in order and will be hoping it will double or triple and then cashout. That is the fact that usually, gamblers addicted when it comes to free betting and when there is an event like that for sure there are many gamblers who will get interested.

Of course I won't.. The time & attention required to be online all time is not worth it and you can't be sure you will hit the jackpot. You can't monitor a gambling site within 24/7 or for 24 hours a day in 30 times because that is a month and probably waiting gets you frustrated. It will depend upon on situation if I can join I will try my luck in that gambling site if it is working and that was tempted to other gamblers to grab on that kind of event. I'm with you on the idea that waiting for a random day just for a free bets would be too boring and I find it as a waste of time. If it's a website I will put on push notifications for the event, and an app would have the settings also. If it's not possible to be automatically notified I will likely not participate as waiting and regularly checking up for a month (or how long it takes) is kind of draining, especially as you are not going to win just by getting the time, you still need luck to win in the jackpot.

It doesn't mean that you have to be awake the full 24 hours, probably you can check and if the event has started or not, if you are really that lucky then you can participate. It' s gambling to wait and stay online the whole day or night, if you have a job you cannot do that, I'll wait based on my allocated time online but never the whole day and night just for a free spin, I'll just spend funds for my spin than spend the whole time for unknown time for the free spin to arrive.

Its not worth ruining your health for, it doesnt seem likely to work out especially.   The only sensible approach is the team idea and split the proceeds of any prize giveaway between you but no doubt this would also break the terms and conditions of such an offer.
  Just doesnt seem that feasible an offer long term, but sure one off deals is something I have gone for in the past and usually its more along the lines of a flash sale type opportunity.  It exists because not many are aware of it, too many competitors and its likely the deal is not as good usually.

Perhaps, we can use a bot, which can help us to monitor a gambling site, so if the new event has launched, we will know shortly. But I think that if that is not worth it for our time, we don't have to participate in that event because we have another thing to do.

But sometimes if you think that you now better than before, and you can control yourself from spending more money, then you can try to participate in that event, but you should remember that you don't have to awake all day long. maybe theres no need to stay awake for that long,because if you are lucky then you will be chosen i guess,and besides there are many things we had to do in life and not just for waiting in this event.
