Hello,

I need a help to reduce the fee amount in Electrum wallet.

I just try to purchase through this wallet, and now i can' t place my order beacuse i can't spent whole balance amount.
means it's a first time i am using and i had just 1 input and i need just 1 output.
i added before some amount for the fee but here the amount is unexpectable high!

Then, in the address tab i have lots of receiving and some changing! the problem would be here?

info:
balance amount : 0.00756 BTC
Max to spend: 0.00655 BTC

photos : https://we.tl/t-A6rJOY4Cfj

Thanks in advace for the help.

The fee is quite reasonable for such a transaction. However, you are using a 2fa wallet which means that you also have to pay TrustedCoin for signing the transaction. According to their FAQ, they charge 0,0005 BTC per transaction. I am quite sure it used to be 0,001 BTC, though.

I'm more familiar with the mobile version of the Electrum and I suggest you use that instead. In the app settings. You can adjust the fee-based on the number of blocks mine before your transaction gets 1 confirmation.
Based on the screenshot that you send. Are you sure that 0.00756BTC is on the single wallet address only? Try to sweep the wallet balance so that you can put it on a single address. Maybe the missing 0.001BTC is on different addresses of your electrum wallet.

You should be able to preview the transaction before broadcasting it. Check if any coins are sent to TrustedCoin's address. There are two ways to get rid of the 2FA. You can either create a new wallet and send your coins there (you will get a new seed which you will need to store in a secure place and you will be forced to pay a fee to TrustedCoin) or you can try to import your existing seed to Electrum. You should be able to spend your funds without the need to pay TrustedCoin if restore your wallet.

if you don't want to pay trusted coin then restore your wallet from seed. begin via file > new/restore. when asked if you want to keep 2fa protection choose not to.

however note that the 0.001 is prepayment for many outgoing transactions at once. you can click on the blue shield icon in the bottom right to learn more about the trusted coin fees.

Try here: https://api.trustedcoin.com/#/electrum-help

They stopped doing a "per transaction" fee... and moved to a "pre pay" system. So, you either prepay for 20 transactions @ 0.00005 BTC/tx == 0.001 BTC Total... or you prepay for 100 transactions @ 0.000025 BTC/tx == 0.0025 BTC total.

Best solution is that provided by Abdussamad... create a new wallet by using "File -> New/Restore -> Standard Wallet -> I already have a seed"... enter in your seed (it'll be detected as 2fa_segwit")... and click next and you'll be prompted if you want to "keep" or "disable":

Make sure you select "disable"... this will restore your wallet with 2 of the 3 private keys required to be able to sign messages WITHOUT needing to use TrustedCoin... After the wallet is created, you can confirm that it worked, by clicking the "blue shield" icon in the bottom right corner:

and you should see the following message:

You should then be able to send ALL your funds (minus the small transaction fee, of course Wink
