Comportamiento extraño en la mempool de Bitcoin

Ayer muchos miembros del foro de inglés estaba hablando de la mempool de Bitcoin, ya que tuvo un aumento considerable alcanzando un pico de 90 Megabytes(MB).

Segun Cointelegraph, al parecer todo se debió a que eran transacciones con muchas entradas (dust o polvo) lo que hacía que estas consumieran bastante ancho de banda del bloque de Bitcoin.

The fact that the fee is so low is showing good practice. If you're in a hurry it's only a tiny bump in fees to bypass it. If it were a spam fest they'd be much higher in an attempt to cock block you.

Respecto al número de transacciones se mantuvo estable cercano a las 20.000 transacciones.
 
Antes del suceso el templo de Bitcoin máximo había sido de 12.5 (MB)
