Binance is one of the biggest and popular exchanges today that's why they became the main target of hackers and others use their name for fraud to steal people's money. I know that some of you are aware of Binance Verify but for those who haven't, I suggest using it to your own advantage. With Binance Verify you can prevent any frauds or phishing sites in the name of Binance, you can confirm an official Binance contact or domain by entering the telephone/email/WeChat/Telegram or website address at the search box.

Code:
https://www.binance.com/en/official-verification

Below are some of the SCAM's reported on this forum where Binance name was used:

And recently in a project I was working on, we received an email from fake Binance Lab Admin (The timing was perfect though because we inquire for an IEO on Binance Launchpad). We did some verification by asking directly to official Binance support via email and telegram but the response was not instant so good that there is Binance Verify to get an immediate answer.

I think it is very easy to avoid phishing sites of Binance: Remembering its domain name
Code:
https://www.binance.com
Does it really difficult to remember? I don't think so. I know it is difficult to remember dozens of exchanges and dozens of other platforms  and services people use for their interests. But for the top exchanges such as Binance I think they should (or must) remember its domain name.

Bookmarking usually used sites' domain names is good but I still believe for some most common used platforms (like Binance) people must remember its domain name.

Hackers can hack by phishing sites or tamper bookmarks but they can not hack your memory.

Binance Verify is not limited for checking the official website but as well as the official emails and social media channels of Binance. You can see on my post that we received an email from a pretending Binance Labs admin but because of using Binance Verify, we knew that they're just fake and not affiliated to Binance.

I'm sure you don't understand why binance created Binance Verify. If you spend a lot of time on telegram, you would know. This scammer/hacker does not only target victim by faking a domain, they also target ICO/IEO project and sometimes, it's difficult to know official email address of these exchanges.
This is really a great step to reduce these types of scams from Binance.

It is a good step at protecting users of their website. I also think our personal information should be protected also. Leakages of emails and IP addresses could lead to targeted scams at people and this would increase the chances if some people getting swindled.

Users should also learn safety measures and especially how to protect their email address.
I personally do not use the same mail for everything, I have a main address for verified sites and another for experimental sites whose privacy policy I'm unsure of.

Aside from using Binance verify, I think its also important to mention this security feature of Binance to prevent users from getting phished and this is their Anti-Phishing Code feature which should be enabled in our account settings.

The beauty of this feature is that we can immediately tell if an email supposedly coming from Binance is legit or not because if we have activated in our account the Anti-Phishing code, then we can see it inside the legitimate email sent by Binance as illustrated below:

That's very true. I do use and utilize the feature and so far so good, I've not fell for a scam (I hope not to Smiley) Binance is one of the security-focused exchanges that I've seen so far. I'm not saying they don't have their short comings but so far so good, they try to make it difficult for a customer to get scammed. The Verification and Anti-phlishing features have come in handy for me most time. I recommend everyone gets their own up and running.
